I'm in the stage of "I don't make Gacha content anymore, but I wouldn't be a writer or digital artist today if I hadn't discovered it." The Gacha Community is deeply woven into my roots as a creator and artist. I've been around since Gacha Life, and made a lot of animated memes and even a miniseries (that I never posted). Gacha is what kicked off so many stories of mine that I hold dear and initially inspired me to create. I definitely wouldn't be as good a digital artist if I hadn't discovered Ibis Paint. I never made any content on RUclips back then, but God I wish I had. I know I would have had so much fun. No matter how far I stray from Gacha, it'll always be a part of me; like the little girl I used to be. 💜
For real, if it wasn't for Gacha I probably would've given up on art a long time ago and would've never found the fandoms and new communities I'm in that I write fanfiction about (or my series that I'm currently waiting on confirmation from my parents so I can have a channel of my own to post it)
I joined gacha when I was 8. Not the community, I just used the app very casually. As soon as I discovered the skits feature, I was hooked. I would make these long, complex stories with my characters that in hindsight made no sense and were really badly designed, but to my 8 y/o brain they were perfect. 5 years later, I'm a wattpad writer! I've got some really good stories going, and writing is one of my favorite things to do. So I gotta thank Gacha for getting me where I am, because I wouldn't be here otherwise!
Don't forget the "Tried their best but quit" category You poured hours into your work, learned all the apps you used from scratch, and got around 20 subscribers in the span of 3 years and 90 posts while other RUclipsrs posted 3 poor-quality videos and got over 1,000 subs. You eventually deleted all of your videos and became just a Gacha fan because you were tired of keeping up with posting content and other creators being more talented than you when they were younger. I'm in that category, but I might come back to the community, someday. Let me know if your in that category too!

I don't see/make any Gacha content anymore, but here am I. You were the RUclipsr that inspired the most back in the day, and kept me going. Without Gacha I wouldn't have learned the things I did. My art improved so much by just spending time creating characters, learning color theory to make them look good, learning how to make them unique. Heck, even the eye shape is what I currently use in my art xD Altough cringy, Gacha was a big part of my life and I regret nothing ❤️
I feel like I'd be around stage three or four. I've known the community since 2018 due to my cousin, and saw her making videos. Once I got a phone last year, I immediately started making videos and considered myself pretty good. Until a few months ago, when I discovered a lot of new techniques in making them, so I'm even better at making them!
Although, on my old channel I started posting just barely enough to the point where some people recognized me on the internet who actually used to watch my content

I’m nothing special with my videos but i do love it. I’m learning to make my oc’s more detailed and have no idea how people make such awesome ocs, I’m jealous honestly. I have been trying to learn alight motion lately but nothing seems to be going right so I stick to iMovie. I wouldn’t say the iMovie is the best, however it’s not as bad as you think. Stage 6 is definitely me I've mastered alight motion, KineMaster, ibispaint X, live2d cubism (Almost), and I'm just starting out in after effects, I've had some experience in animating in about 6-7 months, and iam 12. I've mastered them because I don't touch grass but at the same time focus on my studies, I have a horrible upload schedule and I've mastered gacha club I even have some mods my design usually don't suck because my taste in style definitely got better. Like this is basically me 😭
I was a hobbyist ever since 2017, I stopped making Gacha content because of the community. At that time, it was hellfire Instead of staying and carrying the league of responsibility, I left just like my favorite legendary gachatubers. A lot of them left the community due to Gacha heat, personal issues and lots of stuff, the only Gachatuber I felt for is Berry Dragonheart. I know what she did was selfish, faking her suicide so I don't think she ever came back tbh. All I wish for her is just to stay safe since she is a Filipino I saw each of them leave and stayed, it was hard to accept how the community changes a lot but I didn't mind it. In late 2021, I quit altogether and I thought about making new content. Even though I haven't started anything yet. My old fans were still waiting for me while I'm on my healing journey, I have a lot of trauma scars, and I can't come back looking like a dead person you know. There was a lot of happening in my life, which is why I can't upload any new videos I'm quite happy how the community keeps moving on despite the bad reputation, keep it up, Gacha community! I would always observe you guys ~ an ex gachatuber since 2017-2021

My friend introduced me to gachaverse and I've been in the community ever since. I remember watching mini movies on the TV with my sisters before I was even allowed to have RUclips on my phone. I remember all the old trends and now have even started to make my own content! I hope I can be a good inspiration to lots of people one day! When the whole video talks about how creators in the Gacha community use Live2D, Capcut, IbisPaint X, Kinemaster, After Effects and CPS. Meanwhile, some creators are just using underrated or less-known apps to create art or animations or edits. Nevermind, I guess that's just me 😅
I’m not a newbie or a advanced newbie, but I post on TikTok and I don’t Simp for any Gacha character, but I’m not good at moving the characters, so I’m not sure what I am also mostly successful, but I do not use any of the normal apps. I take pictures and do a slideshow on TikTok
It's hard for me to say which stage I'm at. I have a huge lore for my storyline (would love to turn it into an actual animated series someday), but I'm also pretty elusive because I do this thing called high school. I've been in the community since the end of 2018, but I mainly use it as a way to tell my story, on account of the fact that I cannot animate. I've never really had that much attention or that many subscribers, when I post stuff I'll often get comments saying I'm incredibly underrated. When I made most of my content, I was homeschooled, which allowed me to put a lot of time into my series. Now, I am far more busy, so I utilize the editing skills I learned for school related stuff. I still work on my series when I can, though, and would like to consider myself a part of the community. I have grown so much as a person since I joined it, which I think is something that applies to all of us. I know that one day I'll probably stop doing this stuff- hopefully to do that animated series- but for now, I'm still going, even if incredibly slowly.
Just gonna say this because it’s true. We all made “Gacha edits” when we were like 9 (rough estimate) and our art benefitted from the tracing and muscle memory. I don’t think I would’ve started improving my art if it wasn’t for that phase of my life
I've joined the community since Gacha Life came out, and only really started posting content when Gacha Club released. My content back then was very cringe, but after 4 years, I'm finally on stage 7 of being a Gachatuber. I plan to improve my content further to continue my career as a Gachatuber.

5:25 I did that once and it was a mistake... you really do not want to show friends that your really don't fully know/trust or else it may get spread and more people suddenly find your channel WHO KNOW YOU in real life. Super annoying and scarying because it is real life and you get asked questions a lot.
Are gacha memes not cool anymore- 😰 3:22 Im literally stage 6- I animate I work on live 2d (Still Learning) hate trends I’m 13 My fans are very patient And yes I play with my Ocs like dolls (that’s how I make most of my character lore) And yes I have a lotta potential but I’m lazy-
I personally started by shipping fnaf characters then adding my own ocs sometimes, then only ocs, then only fnaf, then only underrated games, then undertale and now sans aus, i didn't go through the bad boy phase, i didn't really make bad boys mostly femboys. As for the Gacha game i use, i use a lot of gacha club mods each for a different game or character type. As for drawing over stuff i use Microsoft Paint because of 3 reasons : 1) i prefer using my computer. 2) other apps are either paid for or for mobile and im blind af(this is a joke im just nearsighted and i don't feel like having to put the phone literally in front of my eyes). 3) im more experienced on Microsoft Paint. As for editing videos i use Capcut because i honestly find it easier to use because it's more user friendly(that means even inexperienced users can easily use it) and i upload on RUclips and occasionally post on Tumblr. i have been in the community since i was 8 years old i started with Gacha Studio, then Gacha Life when i was 9 and half years old then Gacha Club when i was 11 years old soon im going to start with Gacha Life 2 once it's out for Windows and currently im 13 years old so i have been here for like 5 years. Currently im the Gacha Gamer stage, i made that one up myself when i got reminded of those granny playthrough cat emoji videos(all kids who used RUclips in 2018 know what im talking about). i basically record a video of me playing a game with no reaction or anything then i use already made reactions and edit them in.
Stage 5. I HAVE been here for a while. I watched animation memes, I thrived off Kinemaster, I can spot 98% of the assets used in characters in Gacha Club, I try to post every 2-3 days, I need to write so much lore, I made a Clarity meme, and I've been trying to draw in an art style reminiscent of Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia (I was big into MHA before I got hyperfixated on Dragon Ball Z) Random, but I also got into the community by doing undertale roleplays on pocket chibi, anyone else?

I am definetly somewhere on the lower half of this spectrum, except I got the app a lot of time ago (can't remember when exactly, but that doesn't matter), but not a channel, which led to my exact status to be an amalgamation of several of these types of gacha enthusiast levels. Such as, I believe I make decent characters, but have barely made any edits (complete ones, at least) and am trying to figure out how to draw amine, and never made any videos. (mostly a result of parental control on the phone) I do plan to start a channel on RUclips in the future, although I am not sure yet. This has been green pixel, signing off until next time. :)

man, i love how far this community has gotten. I’ve loved gacha since late 2018 and it still makes me amazed by how everyone has grown. Some of my most favorite gachatubers from 2018 are now on stage 10! Time really flies by 🥲💕
I'm definetly on stage "Hobbyist" right now. I have the app adjustments in gacha club memorized and I know a few hacks that help making gacha videos easier for me. I'm starting to draw anime characters a lot more and all my OCs are literally the characters from Demon Slayer. I sometimes find gacha fun....... while other times........ *insert screaming sound* I use IbisPaint to draw. And I animate and edit all my vids. Correct, not the biggest fan or gacha trends but they're okay, I guess. I know you say 12 or 17, no in between..... and you're kinda right. I started doing this when I was 12 but I turned 13 a few weeks after sooooo yeah. 😅 And yes, my channel is starting to grow a bit (slowly but surely) so there are a few of my subscribers who wait patiently while I'm in gacha trying to get it to stop glitching and stop dispositioning my characters.😫 Help. The struggle there is real. So yes, 100% accurate. Good video, by the way.

My friend introduced me to gachaverse and I've been in the community ever since. I remember watching mini movies on the TV with my sisters before I was even allowed to have RUclips on my phone. I remember all the old trends and now have even started to make my own content!
I hope I can be a good inspiration to lots of people one day! I wish everyone luck on their own journeys through RUclips :D

When the whole video talks about how creators in the Gacha community use Live2D, Capcut, IbisPaint X, Kinemaster, After Effects and CPS. Meanwhile, some creators are just using underrated or less-known apps to create art or animations or edits.

I’m not a newbie or a advanced newbie, but I post on TikTok and I don’t Simp for any Gacha character, but I’m not good at moving the characters, so I’m not sure what I am also mostly successful, but I do not use any of the normal apps. I take pictures and do a slideshow on TikTok

It's hard for me to say which stage I'm at. I have a huge lore for my storyline (would love to turn it into an actual animated series someday), but I'm also pretty elusive because I do this thing called high school. I've been in the community since the end of 2018, but I mainly use it as a way to tell my story, on account of the fact that I cannot animate.
I've never really had that much attention or that many subscribers, when I post stuff I'll often get comments saying I'm incredibly underrated.
When I made most of my content, I was homeschooled, which allowed me to put a lot of time into my series. Now, I am far more busy, so I utilize the editing skills I learned for school related stuff.
I still work on my series when I can, though, and would like to consider myself a part of the community. I have grown so much as a person since I joined it, which I think is something that applies to all of us.
I know that one day I'll probably stop doing this stuff- hopefully to do that animated series- but for now, I'm still going, even if incredibly slowly.

Just gonna say this because it’s true. We all made “Gacha edits” when we were like 9 (rough estimate) and our art benefitted from the tracing and muscle memory. I don’t think I would’ve started improving my art if it wasn’t for that phase of my life

I've joined the community since Gacha Life came out, and only really started posting content when Gacha Club released. My content back then was very cringe, but after 4 years, I'm finally on stage 7 of being a Gachatuber. I plan to improve my content further to continue my career as a Gachatuber.
stage 5 describes me best imo, been into gacha since 2019-2020 ish but I haven’t opened gacha club for over a year and nowadays I just play genshin and pjsekai

5:25 I did that once and it was a mistake... you really do not want to show friends that your really don't fully know/trust or else it may get spread and more people suddenly find your channel WHO KNOW YOU in real life. Super annoying and scarying because it is real life and you get asked questions a lot.

I personally started by shipping fnaf characters then adding my own ocs sometimes, then only ocs, then only fnaf, then only underrated games, then undertale and now sans aus, i didn't go through the bad boy phase, i didn't really make bad boys mostly femboys. As for the Gacha game i use, i use a lot of gacha club mods each for a different game or character type.
As for drawing over stuff i use Microsoft Paint because of 3 reasons :
1) i prefer using my computer.
2) other apps are either paid for or for mobile and im blind af(this is a joke im just nearsighted and i don't feel like having to put the phone literally in front of my eyes).
3) im more experienced on Microsoft Paint.
As for editing videos i use Capcut because i honestly find it easier to use because it's more user friendly(that means even inexperienced users can easily use it) and i upload on RUclips and occasionally post on Tumblr.
i have been in the community since i was 8 years old i started with Gacha Studio, then Gacha Life when i was 9 and half years old then Gacha Club when i was 11 years old soon im going to start with Gacha Life 2 once it's out for Windows and currently im 13 years old so i have been here for like 5 years.
Currently im the Gacha Gamer stage, i made that one up myself when i got reminded of those granny playthrough cat emoji videos(all kids who used RUclips in 2018 know what im talking about). i basically record a video of me playing a game with no reaction or anything then i use already made reactions and edit them in.
The "I've been here a while" stage is totally me i wan't to post but i'm too lazy 💀

I watched animation memes, I thrived off Kinemaster, I can spot 98% of the assets used in characters in Gacha Club, I try to post every 2-3 days, I need to write so much lore, I made a Clarity meme, and I've been trying to draw in an art style reminiscent of Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia (I was big into MHA before I got hyperfixated on Dragon Ball Z)
Random, but I also got into the community by doing undertale roleplays on pocket chibi, anyone else?

I'm the unknown stage, having multiple assets from all of the other stages 😃
I'm probably in the middle between the advanced newbie and trendy beginner also here's the the fandoms that I have loved during the past 3 years: Talking Tom and friends, Sonic, Countryhumans/Countryballs, Skurkud (a mobile game design app) , and now Aphmau, also something I always loved: Horror games and Gacha
I am definetly somewhere on the lower half of this spectrum, except I got the app a lot of time ago (can't remember when exactly, but that doesn't matter), but not a channel, which led to my exact status to be an amalgamation of several of these types of gacha enthusiast levels. Such as, I believe I make decent characters, but have barely made any edits (complete ones, at least) and am trying to figure out how to draw amine, and never made any videos. (mostly a result of parental control on the phone) I do plan to start a channel on RUclips in the future, although I am not sure yet. This has been green pixel, signing off until next time. :)

man, i love how far this community has gotten. I’ve loved gacha since late 2018 and it still makes me amazed by how everyone has grown. Some of my most favorite gachatubers from 2018 are now on stage 10! Time really flies by 🥲💕

I'm definetly on stage "Hobbyist" right now. I have the app adjustments in gacha club memorized and I know a few hacks that help making gacha videos easier for me. I'm starting to draw anime characters a lot more and all my OCs are literally the characters from Demon Slayer. I sometimes find gacha fun....... while other times........ *insert screaming sound*
I use IbisPaint to draw. And I animate and edit all my vids. Correct, not the biggest fan or gacha trends but they're okay, I guess. I know you say 12 or 17, no in between..... and you're kinda right. I started doing this when I was 12 but I turned 13 a few weeks after sooooo yeah. 😅 And yes, my channel is starting to grow a bit (slowly but surely) so there are a few of my subscribers who wait patiently while I'm in gacha trying to get it to stop glitching and stop dispositioning my characters.😫 Help. The struggle there is real.
