Am I the only one that got 1985 Prince or Morris Day vibes from The Doctor's look and vibe in this episode? I'm not in the LGBTQ community, but I absolutely Loved this episode. Wouldn't mind seeing him as a Companion or perhaps The Companion for Ncuti's final season for example. Very interesting character. The "bad guys" are ok, but beyond this one episode I'm not sure if we need to see them again. But yeah, this episode is a 10/10 from me.

Oh, interesting theory. I kinda fixated on that one line where he says there's so much paperwork since they got that new boss. I don't think that was a throwaway. The Meep also said something about a boss, that has yet to be payed off. Could be they're talking about the same boss?
I seriously hope they bring Rouge back at least once, Johnathan seriously played off of Ncuti perfectly. Major Jack and 9 vibes with a hint of 11 and River type chemistry
Loved this very fun episode before the two part finale, lots of fun, romance and very doctor like moments… we have another great Who character in Rogue too, who we will most definitely see again, hopefully next season… Ncuti and Millie yet again been absolutely fantastic…. 🐦
I like how they specifically foreshadowed rogue being too shy to really match the doctors flamboyant extroversion and fail a performance check by making him be a rogue player.
As always enjoyed your reaction, but that's five episodes in a row now (2 x Acolyte and 3 x Doctor Who) with next to no discussion of the episode once it has ended. I hope this trend isn't going to be the way of things going forward with the channel as I very much enjoy hearing your thoughts and opinions on what you have just watched.
Guys, we’re not trying to spoil anything for you, but we keep telling you, Susan Twist is an actress who has been in every episode since Wild Blue Yonder (except for The Giggle). It’s funny you’ve only just started noticing them as the Doctor and Ruby are lol
I find it totally natural that they're only noticing Susan Twist now that the show's characters are pointing her out. What is NOT natural is every other reactor who started calling her out by name with the Space Babies / Devil Chord episodes. They even said, "Oh, this Susan Twist going to be in every episode. There's something more to her." To me, that meant that they were reading up on the press and the behind-the-scene stuff on social media. Because an average viewer has no idea who Susan Twist is, and the early episodes certainly didn't make any big deal about a non-descript older white woman playing very minimal roles. There was no reason for a viewer to notice her unless they'd been spoiled beforehand.
The song the Doctor & Rogue are dancing to is the Grace Jones song, Libertango (I've Seen That Face Before) which, seems to me, a clue about Rogue's identity.
The Lady in the Painting Lindy's Mum The Ambulance The Tea Lady Newton's Maid One of the people on the Space Baby Space Station All were played by Susan Twist. She has been recurring as different people throughout the season. Probably missed an episode or two.
Okay, someone explain to me the time aspect of this. Were the Chuldur's time travelers? Because otherwise I don't understand how they could've been a threat to the world at all. Since we know for a fact that the world, in fact, never in fact ended in the 19th Century - wouldn't that mean that nothing of note happened at this time, regardless of the Doctor intervening?
Duh of course they are time travelers. This is not uncommon in the Whoniverse Well the Doctor stop them, this is why the present is safe. It's the same logic as in The Devil's Chord, when Ruby say to the Doctor that the world didn't ended in the 60s and the Doctor show to her the present if Maestro was not stopped.
I have some guesses about Rogue based on this episode, mostly about the partner that he lost. The song that he didn't want to hear on his ship was probably their song, and D&D was something that they played together. And I suspect that this partner died/was lost because Rogue had to sacrifice him/her to save the world, which was why he asked the Doctor that question at the end.
