Having played him for a fair bit, I can say right out of the gate, his air combos aren't anywhere near as good or plentiful as Raiden's. His Parry is also harder to use than Raiden's, and even when you do land it, it's not as rewarding. That being said, everything else about his moveset is just busted, lmao. Especially just spamming Blender (X, X, Hold Y). Lol
Haven’t played revengence yet but is he available immediately in the vanilla version of the game or do you need some kind of special edition or whichever version of this game? Apologies for the newb question
The DLCs are free (atleast on PC) but you have to complete the base game once to play them. (On console you can also input the Konami code to unlock them right away though)
If you get the game on an older console like the PS3 you probably will get a version from before the DLC but anything should include it, like the Steam version

@@giratina6665 I noticed that there is a red aura. But are provocations part of Sam's character? Because he still caused raids at the beginning of the game, and he continued to do so afterwards.

You also can do kinda of a recovery attack if knocked back to the wall, does good damage and looks amazing
