you'd think the fanbase for a game who's plot revolves around religious purging, racism, and theocratic fascism wouldn't have a great sense of humor. But you'd be wrong, the Morrowind Shitposting community is absolutely amazing, they're like the r/prequelmemes of the Elder Scrolls fandom. Shine on you crazy N'wahs, shine on!
sillyfreeman It's really the opposite people it's more of like satire, as a joke. Unless they are a kid (I mean good for them for trying out some older games when they could easily play prettier, and less wonky games), because they take everything a bit more seriously, but after a while they _usually_ learn it's satire. All in all the Morrowind community (while joking around) is just a Switshow for satire
@sillyfreeman; it doesn't attract literal fascists, just you're incapable of reading satire or roleplay. Whilst a fascist theocracy is a cool and interesting setting for a game, that doesn't mean that we advocate for those ideals. Nor does roleplaying an Ordinator mean that I'm in favour of punishing wrong-think with death. People seem to forget that these are roleplaying games that are satirised and shitposted on the regular, and instead take everything seriously. It's quite sad.
This feels like a weird fucked up dream in which I mix up a bunch of memories and thoughts, "Oh yeah, just browsing the 80's synthwave morrowind youtube videos, of course" BUT WHEN I WAKE UP IT'S REAL IS THIS AMARANTH
The glittering, neon lights of Neo-Balmora make the town look like paradise on earth. But it's more like hell, and the Septim reigns supreme over the city. HlaaluCorp has extended it's control over the city, and the streets are no longer free. But a new cyber-prophet speaks to the masses over SothaNet. Speaks to the oppressed and downtrodden, he calls himself the "Sharmat" and speaks to them via electronic dreams. Tells the poor chums that soon Morrowind will be free of HlaaluCorp. And this new gang, the Ascended Hackers, speak of dreams, of sleepers awoke, and preach the same jib... They're gotta be linked to this chum. Too big of a coincidence, if you ask me. This is where you come in, outlander- ride the night, and find me some ALMSIVI-damned clues.
Man, i love these songs but they do make me a bit nostalgic/sad. My deceased older brother loved the elder scrolls and introduced me to a lot of 80's/synth y music and RUclips itself . I wish he were here to experience this
Vehk would've partied harder than his muatra when he was younger. I can see him dancing up a storm loaded on skooma after a long week of petty crime with his gang. This is some great imagery. Thank you.
I know it's probably suposed to be Divayth Fyr, but I like to imagine it's a version of the Nerreverine. Him and Nerevar facing oposite directions to symbolise the reluctantness to become this other person, and the masked fear of loosing his own Identity. The tribunal gods lurking over him as giants, he knows how powerfull they are, and that he will have to oppose them, and finally the Sharmat. Always dancing in the center. Always whispering in your ear.
Its definitely Divayth. I'm guessing the bottom right is Indoril Nerevar. In game what the Nerreverine thought was left very open. While talking to Dagoth Ur at the end you even have a choice to admit that you don't even think you are the reincarnation of Indoril Nerevar.
Joseph Ellis, well it is the most recent entry in the series, and it is the most popular as well. Further, I dunno what you're talking about with specific RUclipsrs- Camelworks has worked on Morrowind; He doesn't do much with Morrowind anymore due to the fact that he's covered a very large amount of it. Just look to his half-hour Morrowind Easter egg video or his Uncle Sweetshare video. He also has a fair amount of videos on Oblivion, like his video on Hackdirt or The Sunken Ones. The whole crux of your argument is this obvious fact that Skyrim has more content to cover, hands down. Whilst Skyrim may not have as many quests as Morrowind, it certainly is larger by size than both Morrowind and Oblivion, has more locations and a denser concentration of those locations. The only size Skyrim is lacking in when it comes to the map is cities. Further- whilst it may not seem like such on the outlook- Skyrim has far more of a grasp upon personal stories than the other TES giants. This is all despite the fact that Morrowind and Oblivion are just too old to catch a wide audience, which is unfortunately the deciding factor on RUclips- views.
Becouse I might be incorect but the thing that makes morrowind great is the lore, gameplay wise its... well... paralysis... Therefore you should probably focus on the more lore related youtubers, I personaly prefer fudgemupet, and guess what, they have covered The Tribunal, Vivek, Dagoth ur, the ordinators, the good deadra as a group, every good deadra separatly...
He appologized and prostrated himself before Kirkbride and Sawyer. He admitted that he was a terrible story teller and gave them free reign to make the greatest story based, single player experience of all time... And then we all woke up.

They briefly stop, and the Nerevarine disembarks, and contacts Almalexia... Hello. Almalexia. Nerevar? I need to know something, Almalexia. The way we used to be together. -I don't mean lately, but before. It was real, wasn't it? Yeah, it was. You bet it was.... Nerevar, what's wrong?
