I just bought an older E150 today. It had eaten the serpentine belt. The alternator is seized. I'll check the tensioner and idler pulleys in the morning before I head to the parts store. Thanks for the informative video.

Probably. I don't have the vehicle anymore to check, but I found it easiest from the bottom...

@@BuckeyeBallistics no,the adjuster is spring loaded, you stick a 3inch long half in extension in the 1/2 inch square hole in the adjuster, pull the arm back against the spring. Replace idlers and agjustor, all have ball bearings which can sieze.
