In my 60+ years of life, I have not met another person who has understood Konark Temple better than you. I belong and to Puri and have seen Konark countless times. You had a fantastic guide. I went through flashback when u guys visited the Jagannath Temple and Konark Sun Temple as I visited the place few months ago....and this place is the holiest of all ....Jay Jagannath
That 12 year old boy who was suicide from konark temple was "dharmapada" or "dharama" son of Bishu Maharana who is the chief architect ... He (dharama) jumped into chandrabhaga river from the top of the temple for every architect's life... So after this incidents sun god was never worshipped again there.... The history of konark and puri is so deep ... I am proud of my Odisha ❤️...

So the thing is.. being local we dont book or hire any tour guide.. also as a kid or now we only noticed those kamasutra sculpture and giggled.. but.. those high heels, purse, waiting, gossiping all those details i learnt thanks to your blog🤗 Also i remember a good memory in school i played a role of "Bishu Maharana" the main leader of artists, the father of "Dharmapad" the kid who sacrifices his life for 1200 artist.😁
