if you notice around the 4 min mark, she movers the outer cords in and starts using the inner two as the tying cords. I'm guessing she's about halfway through
@@jennifercole5972 Exactly. She used a switch knot when she had finished half the length. I wondered at first why she did that but then as my working cords were getting eaten up I realized why.
Didn't work out at all - not enough length for outer cords. I followed this tutorial exactly, 5mm braided cord, 2 x 12 metres cords. I had to add extra macramé lengths to the outer cords as they were too short (130cm not 180cm). The inner cords were massive lengths. I had to add another 10 METRES to the outer cords. What did I do wrong??!!
Did you figure it out? At around the 4 minute mark she does a switch knot so that the outer cords become the inner cords and the long inner cords become the outer cords giving you the length once again on the outside working cords. You could also achieve something similar in the very beginning by instead of folding the cord in half and making the lark's head knot to attach to the ring, you can fold at a length where the inner cords are a little longer than your final strap length and then the outer working cords are super long. You just have to make sure the shorter sections are in the middle so that they are the inner cords. I think she used the switch knot because if you do it the second way that I decribed, then your working cords are going to be massively long and they are already hard to work with when you just fold the cords in half. I think for this project, it's better to just do the switch knot. I started by folding in half like she did and realized hat I might run out of working cord and that's when I realized why she made the switch knot because I was confused at first (glad I figured it out because I was going to take out all the square knots I had done already lol.)

This is great! Thankyou
Hi Sasha, is it 2 ropes of 12m each? Or 12m across both ropes and you cut that into 2?
12m each, I made it few times:)
отлично!! мне как раз нужна была сумочка для коврика. Еще можно сделать авосцку длинную и узкую
Да да!👍🏻💚
Did you keep the filler cords and the working cords at the same length?
❤❤❤❤
Boa! ardiloso acabamento👋
Lindo!!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘❤️
Great 💡!!!
😘❤️
Great tutorial x think I’m going to take up yoga! :)
😘❤️
Adorei! 👏👏 Obrigada!
🥰👋🏻
Is it 12meters for each rope? or 6 meters x2?
24 meters is a lot of macrame cord. Is there any way to adjust the measurements so it doesn’t use as much cord? Thanks!
Thank you for your good t
eaching.
How long should the thread be to start?!?
Great idea, so usuful my dear
💚🤗
🙏🙏
Great tutorial thanks! Were you left with a lot of leftover on the middle two cords? X

Как всегда супер! ❤️а зачем этот перекрут на ручке после длинны в 90 см.?
Is there a reason you used 5mm polyester cord? Can you use cotton cord?

How much time will it take for someone with no macrame experience?
Hi Sasha would cotton cord also be good for this?
Yes , of course 😘👍🏻
@@SashaMACRAMESSAGE 💕thanks so much for responding. My D rings are too small for my thick cord. Are those wooden or metal rings that you used?
How much mm ring you used
What mm size is the cord you are using?
How long was the yoga strap after it was finished? I must know!
everything is written in the video ❤️🙌🏻 180 cm
How many mm is the cord?
What mm?
how long were the cords you used?
Measurements in the video 🙌🏻
