@@yriiiiiii the matching shoe is to show that the mom didn't just leave, but that crimson killed her. The shoe pops out of the water really far away from the boat
The thing with Loonas Va is actually a misconception. She did lose a loved one but at that point the voice lines were already recorded. She just isnt supposed to talk in these episodes. Viv stated that in a twitter thread. As for why they didnt record more lines is because they didnt have the budget at that point and she regrets not making more lines for Loona.
I’m so glad he saw this comment. I’m getting so tired of people broadcasting Erica’s grief years after the fact based on a false premise. It’s gotta be so bad for that girl if she watches reactions. To just keep getting reminded of that.
I have learned that the person who composited THAT shot with the 3D camera move - their name is Julia Valeri [also known as Dark Crowl], and apparently this was their first episode they worked on as a comp artist for Helluva Boss. They do some really impressive composting shots that stand out in episodes past this one, so kudos to them. They have a video on their channel under Dark Crowl where they broke down their compositing work for this episode, including that shot you are so found of. They added all the shadows that were not originally there frame-by-frame. Insane work. Sadly, I have not found who animated the shot yet, though I felt I saw it float around before. A lot of the people who work on this show do upload their reels from it. It's so cool to see.
1:25:56 Never gonna get over Blitz yelling 'CHILL THE *FUCK OUT!!!'* like that. Like, til now it's been shown and said that he has a ridiculously high pain tolerance, so him screaming like that has me genuinely afraid on what is going on over there.

exactly! he plays it off as oh yeah i am just doing this shark for my perv needs bc that is what chaz would expect, that is how you play a fool to get the info
@@ansonsieu8428Hey we were scared that the audio recording would be busted for RUclips but looks like it was fine, but yes we were scared children lol.
Something interesting in the scene where Blitzø is handed his drink, that's when he realises it's a dangerous situation because he notices the ice in the drink sinks to the bottom. So he shakes it and pretends to drink it to save face. He noticed it must be drugged even before the full mafia reveal, so he's smart enough to be cautious.
One small silver lining in the flashback of Moxie's childhood, the imp Moxie was forced to drown most likely isn't his mum. That's where her body is sure. But if you look closer at the imp Moxie drowned, you'll notice that what's left of thier horns (likely on Crimson's wall) is mostly white. And one of the things that differentiates (cis) male and female imps from each other are the horns. (Cis) Male imp horns have thick black and white stripes, while (cis) female imp horns are mostly black with thin white stripes/groves. So, the bad news; Moxie's mum is still dead. The good news; no extra trauma of being the one that killed his mum.
another thing I've never seen anyone notice is how far out the shoe is from the boat. If it had been the imp he just threw over; then the shoe would have been closer to the boat
Not only are the horns wrong, but the tail and legs are wrong too. Moxxie's mom had digitigrade legs like Mox, but the guy being drowned has normal legs.(Also, like the other poster, the shoe is too far out from the boat as well.)
I think an interesting aspect of Chaz is how hes genuinently confused about why his advances against both Moxie and Millie dont seem to work anymore. The guy clearly has no self-awareness and is just trying to pick up the relationship where he left it, completely unaware that both of his ex have grown as people and can now easily see through all his posturing and recognise him for the loser he has always been.
Smears are great because in isolation, they're obviously "wrong," sometimes bordering on indecipherable, but somehow magically make things read much better in motion.
@sowitapid Right?! I can't believe that one is real I screamed out loud when i saw 😂 I hope my ship comes true too, Crimson realised he hated his wife not because he was evil, but because he was gay, and the man who was always here for him, in good and bad, and protected him with his own life, was the love of his life 😩😂😂😂 I'm half joking but that would be a hilarious ship not gonna lie
Seeing Skyen obsess this much about rotating shots has me imagining the type of analysis he would do for "that" moment in Nothing Left to Lose from the tangled series
YES I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THAT that shot lives rent free in my head CONSTANTLY (as does the song but that's just because i'm obsessed with jeremy jordan lmao)
One little thing that is just subtly in the character animation that i love is moxxie's reaction to blitz when they first meet. At first he's super unsure about him and still totally distraught by the situation he's in and then the second Blitz's ramblings go to his daughter and how he needs to get back to her and how important it is to pick her up from the babysitter so she doesn't feel abandoned is when moxxie's face lights up and morphs into a smile. He trust blitz bc he sees a parental figure that actually cares about his kid which is exactly what moxxie needs after being abandoned.
Not only do I know EXACTLY what camera move you're flipping out over I cannot WAIT to see you react to the character work in this one. There's so many little moments that show internal dialogue that aren't addressed aloud, like the looks between Crim and Chaz, or how Blitzø doesn't eat until they do/pretends to sip the drink Crim gives him. Great stuff
I would be willing to bet Millie dated Chaz a little bit after moving to the city. She is smart and more stable, but I could see her being taken in by the "charms" of a big city boy taking an interest in her as the little country girl. But I would also bet that her relationship with him was much much shorter than Moxxie's relationship with him was.
Some things tat tend of pass unnoticed: 1)when Crim hands Blitx a drink, Blitz looks at it and, for a split second, has a reaction. Then he takes a *pretend* sip. Whar he noticed is that the ice isn't floating at the top the way it should. Crim has poisoned the drink, and Blitz noticed it. That in part explains why he seems almost wary after that.2)You can tell what kind of shark some of the mobsters are based on. Chax is thin, long-bodied, and has an oversized dorsal lobe on his tain (Threasher shark). Later we see one with two horns and a weirdly protrubing mousth (Goblin shark).
I dont think crimson would have a reason to kill blitz when the two just met, but a drug to make him less threatening or easier to manipulate would be plausible.
@@GregPrice-ep2dk Its fine i already saw it. Just felt that poison might be a bit of a presumptuous conclusion as crimson probably wasnt expecting much resistance from Moxie.
The concentric circle eye design means that Striker is a Loanshark/Imp hybrid. Or snake, a lot of people are holding on the hope that some of the Greed shark people are lizards. Because rattlesnakes are part of Striker’s sound design and literally no other reason.
Not addressed in the show: Each ring of hell has a native species. The sharks (Loan sharks) are native to Greed. Imps are originally from Wrath (Striker episode), but have spread the most to other rings. Hell hounds are from Gluttony (Queen Bee episode). Succubi are native to Lust (Asmodeus episode).
So they just multiplied like rabbits then? Is that why there's so many imps across hell? I hope that's the reason, cause it would be funny for the imps to be hornier than the succubi. 😂
@darkflame728 Not necessarily. We don't know if species in Hell were there before or around the same time as humans (depends of Hell was made as part of Lucy's fall or was there before). If you look at humans in real life, our numbers have exploded way beyond rabbits. Plus, each ring is significantly smaller than Earth, so it wouldn't take long. The imps could just be more adaptable and push others out, or maybe have shorter life spans with a quicker ability to have kids.
Also, about Blitz as detective in this episode: he did some research and probably fucked Chez to pull information partially. Moxies dad gave Blitz a drugged whiskey, that he didn't drink, and after discovering that he dealing with mafia he was quiet suspicious. So, yeah, it's kinda there but REALLY hard to notice
People talk crap about Unhappy Campers, but it's a much better episode than people remember-especially since it's a great examination of Millie's flaws and insecurities. Even without that episode, though, there is still a lot about her personality throughout the show, it's just more subtle. But yeah-Unhappy Campers adds good amounts of depth to her.
I'm going to say something controversial yet brave - the writing in unhappy campers is structured better than Western Energy. The A-plot is engaging and the end is dramatic but the B-plot is weak and for some reason the jokes felt not anywhere close to what I usually expect in HB. I think it really drags the A-plot down. Unhappy campers b-plot didn't overstay its welcome imo, and came together at the end in a way I think was more smooth. It's not anywhere close to my favourite episode but I think it doesn't deserve 90% of the hate it gets. I'm very much with Skyen about Cherub though, that's gotta be my least fav one overall.
@@SaiyanSerenityV Yeah, I think at least for me my main issue with happy campers isn't in any way related to bad writing, I just *feel* bad watching it because of ~the cringe~ of secondhand embarrassment for poor Moxxie. There's probably also a number of Stolitz fans that were salty because they had hoped for more content for their ship.
I agree that unhappy camper gets a lot of undeserved flack, even if i dont really enjoy it myself as its very focused on both cringe and teen comedy which are two of my least favorite genres. My main issues writing wise is that its one of the main victim of vizzi team bad habit of not setting up plots before doing them, resulting in certain plot lines like Millie feeling unnapreciated and Blitz0 stalking his sister feeling like retcons when they probably arent. I also think they should have intertwined the two plots much more by involving barbie wire in the M&Ms shenanigans so we actually get to know her before the climax.(could even have millie and barbs bond over their frustration with their "sibling".
[Episode 4 n 5 discussion, spoilers ahead] My opinion is Unhappy Campers is the biggest misuse of an idea in the show thus far, and that missed potential combined with comedy writing that did nothing for me puts it in the "worst of the show" seat. Everything *around* the main plot is good - giving Millie some proper focus, the relationship between M&M, and Blitz's desperate hunt for Barb only to badly fuck it up. I don't think the main plot's combo of cringe comedy and making Mox stubborn to the point of idiocy worked. I at least found parts of CHERUB funny. And I do agree that the weakest structural writing of the season is Western Energy, but I like the villain trio enough that I can look past that.
@@RaptieFeathersAs someone who very much hates secondhand embarrassment and has a hard time watching that episode I still think it has its place. It shows M&M aren't perfect, gives Millie a flaw and some more personality, and also shows the worst case of Moxxie's bad behavior without Millie's support that has been hinted at before now. It also introduces us to Barbie wire which helps set up the big fire reveal next episode, and how screwed up Blitz's head is to look for her after what happened with Stolas, it also shows the crystal for anyone who didn't know about it from the runes.

1:06:48 warning for people w/ sensitive hearing/high volume. not that I don't agree with Skyen's outrage and disbelief, just in a different headset this slipped into "ouch, my ears" territory
I think Blitz and Millie should have worked together to uncover Chaz having no money. Maybe they have a talk, Millie shares a flashback of her and Chaz' backstory, maybe his constant money issues was a thing back then so she doesn't believe him being so rich now. While Blitz 'distracts' Chaz Millie does the detective work.

The sharks aren't imps, it's pretty simple really.. they're hellsharks. just one of the many common species in hell! PROBABLY native to the greed ring, like how succubi are native to the lust ring
@@tonberry2670Species can be native to multiple rings, with cultural differences between them. Imps from Wrath, Pride, and Greed are all quite different from one another. Hellhounds from Gluttony, Pride or Sloth would differ. Similarly I'm sure the various shark and fish people from Greed, Envy, and Sloth would differ.
For the thing about wanting more episodes that explore Millie a bit more: It should be noted that Vivziepop said she planned Helluva Boss to have around 50 episodes (+whatever amount of shorts we're getting). This is now the 11th episode and so far 17 have aired, meaning there's still a lot of time to explore her character more.
Previous video was the first upload you made since I’ve found and binged this series, I’m feeling spoiled with this one coming up so soon :D I love these super long analysis videos, never change.
Yeah you definitely weren't just imagining the intent behind the delivery of that " ..Sir" line. Moxxie's voice actor is also the Voice Director for both Helluva Boss and Hazvin Hotel. He's also the voice for Invader Zim and Billy from Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
The other wall broke because they didn't retract the bridge which was lodged into the wall, so when they moved forward if broke the side of the wall down.
oh, i'm excited to watch your reaction to this one! i honestly think it's one of the most solid episodes of s2. that being said, i do wish we got more depth on millie... we never got to learn about what her relationship with chaz was like. at least her fight scene was cool as balls though, as usual. chaz is also a fun character despite how horrible he is. kind of wish he hadn't died so he could come back in the future, but i guess he got what was coming to him lol.
I could see Chaz reappearing in a future flashback of Millie leaving rural Wrath for urban Greed or Pride for the first time. That's also the only way I could see them having ever hooked up, if he was the first city guy she dated after leaving the farm.
@@RatchetSly ooh, yeah i can definitely see that. we might get it in ghostfuckers considering it seems to be centred around the past/flashbacks. and i agree-as soon as millie got a lick of city sense she probably dumped his ass lmao
Chaz has the exact sleazy character design and animation I'd usually find hot, but hoo, boy, does his personality go an extra mile to make him unbangable.
He's a sharkman who has clearly skimmed through, like, two video tutorials on seduction, and that's all he's got for moves. Dude is entirely focused on himself and his pleasure rather than anything else; hearing Blitz's loud complaints through the wall really makes that clear.
I see the notification, and excitedly go make tea and get my bed tray. I lay down on my bed, smell the tea and put Skyen's new video on my TV, giggling like a little girl at christmas. Thank you for these videos Skyen, they are remarkably funny, but most importantly, honest ❤
Even though it didn’t happen, the way Skyen pointed out the possibly ominous symbolism with Moxxie’s mom in the family portrait and how she could have been the "shadow behind the throne" now makes me kinda wish that we had gotten that instead, like i’m not some psycho who wants to see Moxxie suffer more…but i do like cool villains sooooooo xd
I think potentially the thing that could have made Millie like Chaz was a life of excitement and violence. Part of moxie and Millie’s life is that they both take joy from murder. Chaz was a gangster, and even if he was played for a joke, he still lives a dangerous lifestyle. Maybe Millie found him soon after leaving her boring life on the farm in wrath, and being the first taste of excitement she had. Either that, or he was one of the few people to eagerly go along into her life of danger (we can describe Chaz many ways, but cautious isn’t one of them). This of course falls apart because Chaz is Chaz, and we end up at the present. Moxie on the other hand is willing and able to live this type of life with her, but while being a good partner. Anyway, that could be an explanation. I doubt we’re gonna get one later, as I don’t see Chaz ever becoming important to the story again.
I will say it was really funny being in the chat as, because Skyen hadn't noticed the previous recording issue, they all started panicking because they couldn't hear dad for a moment there.
40:40 I love how Moxxie says "I dont like talking about it" and the goes into a solliloqy 41:10 It's uncertain whether all hellborn demons (i.e the Imps, Hellhounds, and such) are the same species or not. There are a lot of background characters that combine features. One such one when Chaz is introduced, theres a red and white shark demon gaurding the door. Is that dude half-shark half-imp? Maybe. 1:24:07 Naive rural farm girl swept off her feet by shitty city-slicker trope 2:02:51 "Discovering" he canonically gets pegged by his wife and enjoys it.
1:49:39 Little bit I want to shout out here while Skyen points out Blitz kicking the car like you'd spook a horse, I adore his little 👍😃👍 expression here
I would love to see a helluva shorts of moxxie and millie cozin up and talking about chaz and stuff, and a bit of backstory on what her and chazs relationship was like. cause agreed it does feel very missing from this episode. And absolutely agree moxxie's confrontation with his dad might end in death. The way they set him up as a future villain, i imagine we must get his return and moxxies inevitable showdown vs his dad. This has been great listening whilst spamming swarm atm ahha, thanks for the wonderful analysis and rambling ✨
every time these videos come out i just wait for a nice evening to get high and sit thru the full thing and draw. u just dont see other youtubers add so much commentary and thought into reactions like skyen
So just to clarify, the white marks on Imps can be either comestic (from birth like moxxie's dots on his cheeks or tatoos,we will se down later episodes) or they can be scars from injuries like in Blitz and Fizzaroli cases, you can tell them apart by their shapes,Blitz scars are way more natural looking in the meaning not someone made them, while the tatoos ones or birth ones have more precise and previously made shapes. (Not far from reality since tatoos are scars basically.)
so i was playing skyrim and watching this and a blood dragon attacked me at the "giddy up little bit(h-boy youre dead" part so needless to say i felt more epic than usual
40:55 each Ring has a "Native" that is hinted visually. Pride has no Native Hellborn, as it's where Sinners Spawn Lust = Succubi Wrath = Imps Greed = ??? Gluttony = Hellhounds Sloth = Baphomets (while commonly Sheep/goat people their appearance varies greatly. the only consistence being Horns and Candle atop their head) Envy = ??? there is the Term "Possessors" but we don't know it it applies to the Sharks, the Fish people or both. the Sharks and Fish people could be the same Species or different. so it's hard to say which one is Native to Greed or Envy.
Interesting note: Blitz's ice cubes sink when he shakes his drink, which many ppl say is a sign of some specific substances which are often put in drinks to knock someone out, and Blitz actually notices and is cautious of his next sip (its unproven if you can actually tell if a drink is spiked that way tho)
(as best I know this is background lore/context that feels like it's implied but never fully explained, so I assume it's not spoilers) from what I understand about the hellborn/demons?, there's one per ring (except for pride because pride is complicated) wrath: Imps (black and white striped horns) gluttony: hellhounds (dog like) greed: loan sharks? (generally shark shaped, pointy head like striker, layered circle eyes also like striker) Lust: succubi (tiny wings solid color, horns that match their skintone with patterns on the tips of their horns (example verosika)) Envy: deep sea like species? (like the nightmare sort of fish from the deepest parts of the ocean, like angler fish, jellyfish, and bettas as well) Sloth: baphomets (large wings (dragon like?), candle between horns, horns generally one solid color with the tiny lines, and goat eyes) then there's the goetia (birds), seven deadly sins, sinners/overlords (locked to pride?), and probably a bunch of others that I don't know of (but from what I understand demons is an overall umbrella term for anyone in hell) while sinners/overlords can't reproduce, I assume all the others can, and so there's hybrids of all sorts, like striker looks like part imp part loanshark, or one may see imp styled horns on a succubi, and countless other hybrids of all of the hellborn I don't know if the imp white scar tissue applies to other hellborn, it's not something I'm too well versed in and all this is is me putting random bits together, so any of this could be disproven at any point
This one’s definitely my FAVOURITE episode of the season. We get to see the most despicable villain in the show, Moxxie’s messed up backstory, and Millie’s brutally carthartic wrecking of Crim’s henchmen. (Also, the way this episode re-contextualizes Murder Family in season 1 retroactively makes that one so much better) Anyway if you think the tonal whiplash was bad here I can’t wait for the next episode…

POV: local man and all several hundred of his children watch trauma unfold - with commentary!
"Once that happens you probably shouldn't date them anymore"
The snort I just snarted
Kid!Moxxie wouldn’t likely have realized that, I’m willing to bet Crimson did it that way on purpose to make Moxxie think he’d killed his own mother
Fun fact: Crimson’s main bodyguard is confirmed to be gay making Crim’s homophobia all the more funny
Oh no, my crack ship of Crimson x Bodyguard just grew 10 times its size :')
@@akaneshio6406Until a few weeks ago, martha x mayberry was just a crack ship so....
@@akaneshio6406 wouldn't surprise me if crim was at least a closeted bi who has no idea.
Great stuff
Oh my blind ass totally didn't notice Blitzo waiting until they eat / drink. Just to make sure its not poison.
@@rosenrot234 he was in protective dad mode the ENTIRE time, but in the bg so it wasn't hamfisted. I loved that, I eat details like these UP
@@SaiyanSerenityV EXACTLY!
1:51:16 I also love how Millie just keeps picking up Blitz like he weights absolutely nothing and isn't a lot taller than her
I would be willing to bet Millie dated Chaz a little bit after moving to the city.
@@blackbloom8552 Kill? maybr not. But it Was tampered with. Warch the scene again in slow moton and watch Blitx closely.
@@GregPrice-ep2dk Its fine i already saw it. Just felt that poison might be a bit of a presumptuous conclusion as crimson probably wasnt expecting much resistance from Moxie.
I lived to see the day Skyen watched THIS one. What a day to be alive
"Local Man Spends Entire Half Hour Obsessing Over One 3D Camera Move" and this is why we love you!
The concentric circle eye design means that Striker is a Loanshark/Imp hybrid.
Or snake, a lot of people are holding on the hope that some of the Greed shark people are lizards. Because rattlesnakes are part of Striker’s sound design and literally no other reason.
[Upcoming episode spoilers]
We do see that another set of Crimson's goons are all lizard folk, with one snake among them, so it's entirely possible.
Not addressed in the show:
Each ring of hell has a native species. The sharks (Loan sharks) are native to Greed.
Imps are originally from Wrath (Striker episode), but have spread the most to other rings.
Hell hounds are from Gluttony (Queen Bee episode).
Succubi are native to Lust (Asmodeus episode).
And whatever species glitz and glam are is probably from envy
And Sloth has those goat demons with a candle on their head (a few dancers in Ozzie's for example).
@@novanettle7497 Yah, I was only going with ones where we've seen the environment so far
1:54:35 Episode's over, so of course we still have 35 minutes of video left.
"Again, fear reaction. 78 PEOPLE HAVE ADDED ME?!"
11:28 props to this Hyper person going “wonder if he recognizes the voice” SECONDS before Skyen says it
Even with Blitzo, Chaz almost immediately fucked it up by making a clown pun.
seeing the title and knowing the episode, i know EXACTLY which camera pan is being talked about. its a small moment, but it really is THAT good.
**Reads the video title** Yup, that's the content I subscribed to. **Clics video**
[Episode 4 n 5 discussion, spoilers ahead]
My opinion is Unhappy Campers is the biggest misuse of an idea in the show thus far, and that missed potential combined with comedy writing that did nothing for me puts it in the "worst of the show" seat.
Excited to see a local animation nerd being an animation nerd! Same!

The imp on the boat is not the mother.
>Imp does not have the same feminine body shape as her. The body looks more masculine but very skinny.
>The base of the imp's cut horns are thicker than hers. The base was also mostly white which is a male imp thing.
>Muffled voice does not sound feminine, but I guess this one doesn't matter because she has no voicelines.
>The shoe that floated was too far away from where they were, implying that she's been dead for a while. Possibly killed right after she left.

I really really appreciate these videos because you call attention to the amazing things in animation that I would never notice on my own
Ok but you have NO IDEA how much serotonin I get from these videos. Best 2 and a half hours of my week. :D

Which is weird because you'd think that the sharks would be native to the envy ring of all things
@tonberry2670 Nah, because Greed. Loan sharks.
1:17:22 I am obsessed with watching that comment in the Discord chat doing NUMBERS.
Chaz's goal is a hole.
Demon Daddy Issues the Show
Blitzo, Moxxie, Stolas and Octavia, yeah. That's a big chunk of the regular cast.
But Crimson said that he summoned I.M.P just to get Mox so, Blitz had to be in the episode.
Skyen talking about going frame by frame through Disney movies. Yep, this tracks.
@@RatchetSly ooh, yeah i can definitely see that. we might get it in ghostfuckers considering it seems to be centred around the past/flashbacks. and i agree-as soon as millie got a lick of city sense she probably dumped his ass lmao

was live on discord, very excited to rewatch this on a sober head.
9:40 I really love Blitz's horse OCs and relationship chart on the whiteboard in this episode. It is very fun.
52:21...eight minutes and I've been RECORDING FOR AN HOUR??
How does this man know musical theatre, invaders Zim and Billy and Mandy, but NO attention given to Richard Horvitz
Bro every time you read into it it’s usually right. Like wow that’s pretty cool.
2:27:12 it was in Murder Family. She loves him because of good heart
40:40
I love how Moxxie says "I dont like talking about it" and the goes into a solliloqy
41:10
It's uncertain whether all hellborn demons (i.e the Imps, Hellhounds, and such) are the same species or not.
There are a lot of background characters that combine features.
One such one when Chaz is introduced, theres a red and white shark demon gaurding the door.
Is that dude half-shark half-imp? Maybe.

I love how Moxxie says "friendless horse-f*cker" and when Blitz says it he changes it to "horseless friend-f*cker" lol
so i was playing skyrim and watching this and a blood dragon attacked me at the "giddy up little bit(h-boy youre dead" part so needless to say i felt more epic than usual

each Ring has a "Native" that is hinted visually. Pride has no Native Hellborn, as it's where Sinners Spawn
Lust = Succubi
Wrath = Imps
Greed = ???
Gluttony = Hellhounds
Sloth = Baphomets (while commonly Sheep/goat people their appearance varies greatly. the only consistence being Horns and Candle atop their head)
Envy = ???
there is the Term "Possessors" but we don't know it it applies to the Sharks, the Fish people or both.
the Sharks and Fish people could be the same Species or different. so it's hard to say which one is Native to Greed or Envy.

(as best I know this is background lore/context that feels like it's implied but never fully explained, so I assume it's not spoilers)
from what I understand about the hellborn/demons?, there's one per ring (except for pride because pride is complicated)
wrath: Imps (black and white striped horns)
gluttony: hellhounds (dog like)
greed: loan sharks? (generally shark shaped, pointy head like striker, layered circle eyes also like striker)
Lust: succubi (tiny wings solid color, horns that match their skintone with patterns on the tips of their horns (example verosika))
Envy: deep sea like species? (like the nightmare sort of fish from the deepest parts of the ocean, like angler fish, jellyfish, and bettas as well)
Sloth: baphomets (large wings (dragon like?), candle between horns, horns generally one solid color with the tiny lines, and goat eyes)
then there's the goetia (birds), seven deadly sins, sinners/overlords (locked to pride?), and probably a bunch of others that I don't know of (but from what I understand demons is an overall umbrella term for anyone in hell)
while sinners/overlords can't reproduce, I assume all the others can, and so there's hybrids of all sorts, like striker looks like part imp part loanshark, or one may see imp styled horns on a succubi, and countless other hybrids of all of the hellborn
I don't know if the imp white scar tissue applies to other hellborn, it's not something I'm too well versed in
and all this is is me putting random bits together, so any of this could be disproven at any point
This one’s definitely my FAVOURITE episode of the season. We get to see the most despicable villain in the show, Moxxie’s messed up backstory, and Millie’s brutally carthartic wrecking of Crim’s henchmen.
(Also, the way this episode re-contextualizes Murder Family in season 1 retroactively makes that one so much better)
Anyway if you think the tonal whiplash was bad here I can’t wait for the next episode…
