    This guy gives such great interviews. It's clear what he's saying, he's patient and not talking over the host, wealth of knowledge, and seems like a generally nice guy. He loved the business and has so many great things to say about his fellow wrestlers. Even when he could have dissed WWE for their ico-pro formula, he simply states the technology was new and they were trying to make money like everyone else rather than burying them or making fun. Very professional. I think a 2nd interview would be great in the future.

    When I was seriously into bodybuilding I was eating every 3-4 hours. It eventually got to a point where it was an unpleasant chore to be eating that much, that often. That’s as a natural though, I have never idea how roids would have affected that. I suspect that they don’t have to eat as much because of the actions of the chemicals.

    • @mr.x9566
      @mr.x9566 9 месяцев назад +1

      Gave you a thumbs up. When I can be bothered to train properly, like you : eating small meals every 2-3 hrs. This also felt like a chore. "I'm only doing this because I need to. This is not enjoyable". I found thorough stick purely to heavy compounds for 3 mths and then shifting to a high volume varied workout for several months after, you NEED to eat to recover and fuel. The more you train, the more you need to eat, your body absolutely requires it.
      Taking PEDs does actually do lots of the biological work for you though, after all, they are a synthetic testosterone. You can eat badly but with the right stack, you'll just burn everything off. You can't just use PEDs to increase mass or size though, you would have to take a whole host of other drugs to protect your liver, to avoid testicle shrinkage, infertility, gyno, acne and any other side effects. Many wrestlers passed away because on top of the PEDs AND the drugs to combat the side effects, many of them were also using uppers and downers WITH alcohol AND recreational drugs. That's just asking for death.
      When bodybuilders give advice on nutrition and recovery. I take it with a pitch of salt as I KNOW they were using PEDs and that alone will invalidate anything they're saying.

    • @trappenweisseguy27
      @trappenweisseguy27 9 месяцев назад +1

      Yep, packing away 30 grams of protein every 3-4 hours was not pleasant and a little expensive . Roids are not only very bad for the body as you mentioned but are very expensive as well. I talked to a friend who was friendly with one of the steroid freaks in our gym and he admitted to spending 3 grand a month on his gear. Way out of my price range.

    • @mr.x9566
      @mr.x9566 9 месяцев назад

      @@trappenweisseguy27 I've been training for 20yrs and I have had friends, cousins and uncles use and abuse (totally unsafe levels) PEDs for years. Uncle had a fatal heart attack in 40s whilst driving to a wedding, crash his car and he went through the windscreen, his brothers also users had heart attacks one survived, the other didn't. Cousin had a stroke and died at 36. All 3 of them had enlarged hearts.
      When I started training I'd chosen a bodybuilder as a template but realised that that person used steroids, chose another one and that person used. I looked at bronze era bodybuilders in the end. Whatever you do to get results (proper diet, protein power, PEDs) you have to be able to maintain that commitment.
      Personally, for me, steroids are a waste. I can train and eat properly and get the "are you using steroids? Are you sure your not using steroids?". Stay clean, you will ALWAYS have the edge over people that lift, especially in the long run.
