It's easy to swear at his father's choices, but I think that if we were in his father's position, many of us would probably make the same choice. If his father was burned at the stake because of Rafał, that would also be unreasonable. Rafał was a first-time offender, so if he had changed his ways, his life would not have been taken. In other words, his father's choice was the only choice that would have saved everyone. Who would have imagined that Rafał would not change his ways and would choose suicide?
Honestly in the moment I did blame his father but this is so true on a logical point of view , his father was correct But then again nowak had no proof and it was pure speculation The mind games played was real The real choices was to report and make him a 1 time offender or feign ignorance and risk the chance of getting caught But the thing is things that have not yet happened isn't really a consequencal choice It made you feel that the first option made sense but i believe in reality it was again a choice made on a speculation that he would get caught and both of them would be arrested it was an un-materialized future that would have not gone nowaks side It's a mix of philosophical and logical question where the things that have not yet happen can be considered as a choice
