- Here is my 12 x 12 Interactive Scrapbook pages that I started doing a couple of years ago, and this collection set is all about a baby album!! I decorated this album with the beautiful Boho Baby collection kit from Simple Stories. I did use 2 collections kits, and a 6 x 8 paper pad, with a lot of cream colored cardstock for the photo mats. I hardly had any scraps left over at all!!
With this type of scrapbook album, you will be able to hold at least 250 photos inside this album, and reduces the amount of albums on your shelves, plus they are just gorgeous albums to be looking at and to share with your family, or they also make for a great gift to that special person!!
This type of album does have a lot of different options on how you put your album together!

What weight of cardstock do you use? What do you do to keep holes from tearing? Thank you. Gorgeous albums.
The paper I use is 65lb. weight. I purchase my kraft color cardstock from Hobby Lobby, and black from Michaels. I have several ways to help prevent that from happening when I do my Interactive pages.

Do you use pages protectors ?
Nope, I don't use page protectors for this type of album, because you wouldn't be able to turn all the flips and flaps, and pull stuff out of the pockets. Really, it is no different than making a handmade chipboard or folio album, which they don't get put into protectors.
I do have an idea about wrapping the side and the top/bottom with cardstock to help protect the album, which I need to be working on the concept and get that out there for you!! Great Question Rita!! Thank you very much, and I hope that helps you out!!
