I like your video, you should do more of that kind. If i can suggest an addition to this video, maybe you could compare his numbers to other recognized "talent". Like, his overall accomplishments are similar to blank if he wasn't injured or whatever. Anyways, i like your channel!
There used to be a WHA team in Calgary called the Cowboys Their jerseys are basically red wings jerseys with a giant 10 gallon hat on the front lol they're pretty cool actually
You’re being sarcastic right? Its hard to tell. If your not thats crazy, how is he the goat if he only scored 50 in one year, then sucked the rest of his life, gordie howe dominated all of hockey into his 50’s
The argument on his HOF never made sense to me. Good goalies tend to be found on good/dynasty teams. Was he Brodeur? No. But he earned his spot. Guy proved himself time and again against "hockey media."
The greatest day of my life was when I was in 2nd grade, I went down by the tunnel during pregame warmups, and Dany gave me his stick while coming off the ice. I have that stick on display in my room
As a Buffalo fan - I miss the days of Alfredsson, Spezza, Heatley. An elite line back when OTT and BUF were something to be feared. The rivalry our teams had between 05-08 was my favorite I ever lived through. Heatley put up back-to-back 100+ point seasons in that time. That's no mistake, guy was a player.
I’d love to see some how good was he really videos on Kent Nilsson, Hakan Loob and Mike Rogers. All three spent time in other pro leagues but had very respectable NHL careers.
Heater at his peak was a dynamite sniper. Wicked wrister that was as accurate as anybody else’s. He wasn’t that great at creating plays by himself, but pair him up with a solid playmaker and he was a top tier finisher
Do Peter Forsberg, could have been on of the best players to ever play but injuries. It would be fun to hear about everything around him, from the lindros trade, to his amazing ppg and sadly his injuries! Keep up the good work man :) From a very northen swede LUL
Patrik Elias...had a great offensive career in a defensive minded Devils era. Would be curious to see the numbers he could have put up elsewhere. Another would be Stevie Y. His offensive numbers were through the roof but changed his game to a defensive one and won some cups. Just my few off the top of my head.
Speaking of Heatley. Can you do a top 10 best lines of the salary cap era? I imagine Heatley in San or ott could both be contenders. Sedins/burrows, current Bruins, and backstrom/ovi/semin all come to mind.
This vid really just told us his stats, which we can find anywhere really. And the reasons for good and bad seasons. I was hoping for more on his playing style to explain how good he was. Instead all we got was "really good."
I would like to see a video on Dino Ciccarelli. I realize he is in the Hall of Fame but I have never heard anyone mention him as an all time great. That said, I did not watch him play in the 80's.
an episode on "How good was Fedorov", especially as a Red Wings fan, you must know a lot more about it even if you weren't watching at that time. Most people remember Datsyuk and Zetterberg, but not not Fedorov surprisingly. It could do him justice
Scoring back to back 50 goal seasons is nothing to slouch at. No other Senator has come close to scoring that many goals since he left so as far as snipers go, I think it's fair to say he's among the top goal scorers Ottawa has ever had. I remember thinking Ottawa got fleeced badly in trading Heatley to San Jose. Cheechoo did have that one amazing season leading the league in goals but he was already showing signs of being a one season wonder before the swap. Michalek was a solid player and even an all-star in Ottawa but he also faded after a few seasons, granted he did outplay Heatley putting up more goals, points and seasons in Ottawa than Heatley did in San Jose. At the end of the day, Ottawa did okay with the trade. Plus if rumours are to be believed, the proposed Edmonton trade was "highlighted" with Dustin Penner as the key player going to Ottawa (along with a 1st round pick and I think Ladislav Smid) so say what you will about Heatley, but he probably did the Senators a favour choosing not to waive his no-trade clause then.
As he’s my favourite player, I’d always love a video on Paul Kariya, but I don’t think he’s as interesting as a player that gets overlooked or was a “one hit wonder” like Heatley is known as. A couple interesting players I can think of would be Jonathan Cheechoo or Bobby Ryan (although not retired, interesting)
You should do Ryan Whitney tbh..think it would be entertaining and people would enjoy it! Maybe I’m just being biased because of the podcast ...but idk
Now that #1 meme player is out of the way, proceed to the 2nd one, Mike Ribeiro. I really think his case is interresting as not a lot of people remember him even if he was a BEAST with Dallas
Lots of comments calling him a one hit wonder are very foolish. The man was a stud but knee injuries ruined his ability to skate and even shoot as well as he did
Im going to be real here. He was absolutely one of the best players in the world at his peak. His issue was his off the ice mentality. He had all of the talent in the world of screwed up one too many times.
He's in the category of very skilled players not willing to accept lesser roles and work hard to prove the coach wrong. As for upcoming ones (I'm partial since I'm swedish): Håkan Loob, Mats Näslund
Make sure to drop a like on the video to let me know you want to see more! Thanks for the support
Do Patrick Roy
How good was, Pavel Bure?
I like your video, you should do more of that kind. If i can suggest an addition to this video, maybe you could compare his numbers to other recognized "talent". Like, his overall accomplishments are similar to blank if he wasn't injured or whatever. Anyways, i like your channel!
How about Daniel Alfredsson. So young people see why he should be Hall of Famer
Ngl u sound kinda sad in this video
He was a f*ckin' all-star, that's how good he was
All the All Star jokes aside this dude was elite, lethal shot and a huge frame. A hockey legend despite what happened later in his career
Would love to see one on Roberto Luongo.
A team called the Calgary Canucks just sounds wrong 😂
Toronto oilers? Edmonton maple leafs? Ehh...?
There used to be a WHA team in Calgary called the Cowboys
Their jerseys are basically red wings jerseys with a giant 10 gallon hat on the front lol they're pretty cool actually
Best all star games ever when he’s in em. Ottawa ghost ,you here ?
A bit more obscure but maybe: How Good Was Zigmund Palffy Actually next?
Underated as f
@@davidhoffmusic dude was an absolute stud but it’s pretty shocking how little his name is brought up these days
Some suggestions:
Jiri Hudler
Marc Savard
Tomas Holmstrom
Adam Deadmarsh
Jonas Hiller
I wanna see Shane Doan.
Helluva sniper, but skating fell off and his career went with that.
- Sens Fan
He was best player ever. There’s a reason his nickname has all star in it. Also 50in07 puts him in the hall of fame
Eddie McMullen ya same
You’re being sarcastic right? Its hard to tell. If your not thats crazy, how is he the goat if he only scored 50 in one year, then sucked the rest of his life, gordie howe dominated all of hockey into his 50’s
Not the best ever but very very good
Michelle Herr bruh I’m jokin around
Michelle Herr the best player ever is John scott
Lemieux? Ed Belfour? Felix Potvin? Daniel Alfredsson? Nicklas Lidstrom?Jarri Kurri?
Bondra?
I’d definitely like to see an episode on Chris Osgood
The argument on his HOF never made sense to me. Good goalies tend to be found on good/dynasty teams. Was he Brodeur? No. But he earned his spot. Guy proved himself time and again against "hockey media."
Could you do Scott Gomez? I know a lot of people aren’t super aware of him and his huge contract and why he got it.
I hated how he would torch my penguins
The greatest day of my life was when I was in 2nd grade, I went down by the tunnel during pregame warmups, and Dany gave me his stick while coming off the ice. I have that stick on display in my room

Video is worthy just from that Shanny pic in a Wings jersey. Absolute unit.
super underrated player, doesn’t ever get the recognition he deserves
I’d love to see some how good was he really videos on Kent Nilsson, Hakan Loob and Mike Rogers. All three spent time in other pro leagues but had very respectable NHL careers.
Heater at his peak was a dynamite sniper. Wicked wrister that was as accurate as anybody else’s. He wasn’t that great at creating plays by himself, but pair him up with a solid playmaker and he was a top tier finisher

An obscure player that had a lot of talent that wasn't spoken of very much was Alexei Yashin. A video on him would be great - keep up the good work
his nickname is Dany “Fing All-Star” Heatley and he is one of my favorite players can you next do the sedin twins, Hank and Dank Sedin please.
DANY HEATLEY ALL STAR!!!!!!!!!!
Really was a fan of him back in the day, even though Im from Edmonton & well....anyways...You need playlists for your channel btw big dawg
Would love to see one on Jarome Iginla! One of the best captains of all time
Great video. Looking forward to more of these
Patrik Elias...had a great offensive career in a defensive minded Devils era. Would be curious to see the numbers he could have put up elsewhere. Another would be Stevie Y. His offensive numbers were through the roof but changed his game to a defensive one and won some cups. Just my few off the top of my head.
The Pizza line was so good for those 3 years, I cant even count the amount of free pizza they got us lol
so excited for this series
I would love to see one on Zdeno Chara
I was Chara’s billet in juniors when he played for the PG Cougars :) Loved the guy
Speaking of Heatley. Can you do a top 10 best lines of the salary cap era? I imagine Heatley in San or ott could both be contenders. Sedins/burrows, current Bruins, and backstrom/ovi/semin all come to mind.
Is this inspired by the Pokemon based series by False Swipe Gaming? Cause I love this style of video and would love to see more stuff like it
Actually inspired by an NBA RUclipsr I watch, AndyHoops!
This vid really just told us his stats, which we can find anywhere really. And the reasons for good and bad seasons. I was hoping for more on his playing style to explain how good he was. Instead all we got was "really good."
Also maybe should have gone over more of his international stats. he was fairly good for team Canada when he played.
1:35 so funny because i drove right by that exact spot yesterday
For some reason I thought about this guy this morning 😂 hahaha btw good serie idea !!
I would like to see a video on Dino Ciccarelli. I realize he is in the Hall of Fame but I have never heard anyone mention him as an all time great. That said, I did not watch him play in the 80's.
I want to see more of these type of videos, good video!
I want to see one for Pavel Datsyuk
an episode on "How good was Fedorov", especially as a Red Wings fan, you must know a lot more about it even if you weren't watching at that time. Most people remember Datsyuk and Zetterberg, but not not Fedorov surprisingly. It could do him justice
The Origin of the Fuckin AllStar meme is from a youtuber back in the day called OttawaGhost.
Scoring back to back 50 goal seasons is nothing to slouch at. No other Senator has come close to scoring that many goals since he left so as far as snipers go, I think it's fair to say he's among the top goal scorers Ottawa has ever had.

Would love to see an episode on Theo Fleury!
Would love to see Teemu Selanne :)
It would be a good idea to make a comparison to a current NHLer
Calgary Flames+Vancouver Canucks=Calgary Canucks?🤯
I think you should do peter bodra because he doesn't get much spotlight nowadays he was the face of the franchise for the capitals before ovi.
Great choice for the first episode
One important detail I think you missed is that in that 09-10 season, Heatley Thornton Marleau (HTML) was the best line in the league.
Would be great to see a Kovalchuk video
Is love to see Plekanec. I never got to watch him in his youth so I’ve always wondered how good he was.
I would like to see one on Alex Mogilny
i have his hockey stick! He handed it to me at a sens game when i was super young
Other than that season where he had 50 he was actually a very good player in his career people never talk about that
Sure he only got 50 one time but he was a guaranteed 20-30 goal man
60-70 point man, and that was more than good enough for me
As he’s my favourite player, I’d always love a video on Paul Kariya, but I don’t think he’s as interesting as a player that gets overlooked or was a “one hit wonder” like Heatley is known as. A couple interesting players I can think of would be Jonathan Cheechoo or Bobby Ryan (although not retired, interesting)
He was good enough to play over 10 seasons and put up a couple 50 goal seasons. He was so good he requested a trade twice
Pavel datsyuk, mike modano, henri Richard, Patrick Roy, Lanny McDonald
Would love to see this with either jimmy howard or Henrik Zetterberg
You should do Ryan Whitney tbh..think it would be entertaining and people would enjoy it! Maybe I’m just being biased because of the podcast ...but idk
Next time could u put the career stats at some point in the video? Or like maybe the stats when the guy was in his prime
I flashed stats throughout the video, next time I can show career stats at the end!
Now that #1 meme player is out of the way, proceed to the 2nd one, Mike Ribeiro. I really think his case is interresting as not a lot of people remember him even if he was a BEAST with Dallas
A few suggestions: Rick Dipietro, Patrick Stefan, Clint Milarchuk, Jonas Hiller, Matt Horton
I almost forgot about hiller, man the flames with their random goalies being good for a few seasons than fizzling out 🤦
Landon Leavitt he was rlly good with the ducks but Calgary ruined him just like we do with all goalies :/
Do Rick Nash. By far one of the most underrated players to ever do it
Dale Hawerchuk, pat Lafontaine, ziggy Palfy, Wendel Clark, Doug Gilmour
I would really like to see Mika Kiprusoff
Lots of comments calling him a one hit wonder are very foolish. The man was a stud but knee injuries ruined his ability to skate and even shoot as well as he did
Can you do Mr Game 7, Justin Williams
Im going to be real here. He was absolutely one of the best players in the world at his peak. His issue was his off the ice mentality. He had all of the talent in the world of screwed up one too many times.
I am astonished that no one has mentioned John Scott
My boys and I have a saying when we’re on a heater on anything in life gambling, business, relationships… and we call it a Danny heatley Heater
Do how good was Steve yzerman actually because he didn’t win a lot of awards but he had some of the best seasons in the nhl
Mentioned the twitter acc but not a single shoutout to Ottawa Ghost? Fucking shame
Do gretzky and how he would compare in today’s nhl
Impossible,
Can you do rod brinda more
Dany Heatley all star
Will you do dan boyle
He's in the category of very skilled players not willing to accept lesser roles and work hard to prove the coach wrong. As for upcoming ones (I'm partial since I'm swedish): Håkan Loob, Mats Näslund
Can you do Wayne Gretzky?
Good channel!
Marc Savard please!
Would love to see Markus Naslund.
Sergei Samsonov. 5'8 drafted 8th overall
If Heatley never got into that car crash, there might still be an NHL team in Atlanta.
😳
@RonnyDonny13 Or they'd be what the Oilers are now with McDavid and Draisaitl
he was a damn good goalscorer, if atlanta didn't suck that bad he could have almost 50-70 points more in his time there
Buddy’s a friggin’ all star.
#50in07
DANY HEATLEY ALL STAR!
Do Marian Gaborik next
Do Patrick Roy
Can you do dion phaneuf?
Do maximum afinogenov next
I am so excited
That twitter account has a podcast with his roomatte called Wet Jeans. Quality, non political, strictly NHL, anti-racism, intellectual content.
The day he left Ottawa I said "well we're done" and the rest is history.
I'd like to see Fedorov, Bure, and Mogilny.
Bondra
Maybe you could do a series on the most overrated and underrated players in NHL history
Do Bobby Ryan
The person outshined the player.
next Paul Kariya please
He was an all star
in the off chance you see this 4 years later, i would love to see nicklas lidstrom
Do mika kiprusoff
