Apologies! I must have accidentally turned down the opacity of the short paragraph blurb whilst creating the animation! It was meant to be white (with only a very slight shade of red) as seen throughout the entire video.
Nice one MIZKO! Good watch! I really do appreciate pen and paper.. having my sketches early in the process actually speeds up my design process on Figma 💯
So when you say, never have you used dribbble for UX inspiration, I am curious to know what resource you use or how to sources UX inspiration and patterns.
Love seeing the ENTIRE process. Inspiring to see how the landing page evolved :). Also, so right about how Dribbble is meant for visual inspiration and not UX inspiration - a lot of people incorrectly go there for both.
Hi Mizko, when you do a redesign or add a feature to an app do you have to do research and usability testing etc? I’m learning and as a side project to learn on I was wondering if all of that is necessary. Also still not sure why grids are used. Is it just to line up and get correct spacing ? And can you choose any amount of grid lines?
Hi @Mizko ! Thanks for this video. I have a NEED! Do you have a video on how to successfully go from one design direction with a fully functioning design system to a completely new design, reusing (I guess) the old designsystem, making changes to EVERYTHING. :D What advice do you have? As a consultant, I come into a new project every 6 months, and most of them now have an old design system in place. How do I change this effectively? Do you have a video on this, please? Any experience you have will be valuable!!!
@@Mizko How did it go? Did they ran A/B testing? I'll do the same actually. Got rejected from a startup, while I had some plans done, and I though... why not make a video on what not to do and how to improve something. And then you said you're happy to split test it... so I might as well do this, give them the code and desing with copy for free, and let them A/B test it - if they are happy, great, if not doesn't matter. I'll get to make a video out of it anyway, so no point holding this to myself if they can utilize it.
@@Mizko Of course, I was just curious because I never had a project big enough to justify a $1.5k font license so I use different fonts was just curious if you had bought them for previous work or if they offer trial fonts.
How the user will understand? If It's hard to read the text. It lacks contrast. I liked the design but there's no accessibility kind of thing in body text.

Thank you Christian!! Like wise!!
superb mizko. I am your fan. Big motivator for design. Thanks for tips to redesigning any website.
Hey Siri, Hit the like button hard! Loved the cinematic shots 🔥

Great one! Please do more Re-designs like this.
Thank you!

100% - Never been a fan of the Dribbblisation of design!
Is there a place for UX inspiration then - different interaction solutions for specific problems?
Looks really great, but I'd question accessibility of some of the text using the colours you've gone with in some parts. Nice design though :)
The paragraph text seems less contrasty... Hard to read may be...
Yep! Accident!

Hi @Mizko !
Thanks for this video.

Dribbble is only for UI inspiration 🙂 cannot agree more!
🔥
Loved the intro xD
and of course the video as well.
Thank you 🙏🏼Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Mizko super excited for the courses!, been in line since May 👀
Now for the only thing that matters, will it actually convert better?
Now that would be extra interesting
I'll be in touch with the team to see if they're happy to split test it :)
@@Mizko BTW I tried to buy the kit a while ago but there wasn't any PayPal option, do you have it these days?

Brilliant!
Thank you Yaseen!
How do you get great fonts like "Graphik" for example? Their prices are insane... Can you get them for design without paying thousands for a license?
Nope, I pay for all my fonts. You have to respect the font designers.

When does the next design system video come out?
I think those slaps was to discipline us to gently smash the like button.
😂
This is cool, how were you able to make the text animation on Figma?
You forgot to say "Smash the like button" in this video haha. Great work though, keep it up!
Appreciate it Miz
king Mizkooooo

Great

I was wondering why my speakers are getting muted-You're spamming Siri. But she can't find a lamp unfortunately.

In the recording it was white. I must have accidentally turned down opacity in creating the animation.
Please provide the file in description
I want to improve my typography plz help 🙏
