Thanks for reacting to this my friend wham had si many good hits and when they split up george michael started his solo career and made even more great hits... this song was their first number 1 song and anytime this came on the radio me and my friends would be dancing and singing to it Rip George michael
Of course I had to get rick to react to wham they were bog in the 80's and I love George michael when he went solo and sang careless whispers gotta get rickki to react to that one too boy do I miss the 80's music we had the best music back in the day
@@cathysmith2941 yes careless whisper was so good. There was a metal band that covered it and I love that version too. I still think of George Michael and those jeans in the Faith video 😂
I can't believe I still remember all the words to this.. I remember me and my friends would start dancing in our bedrooms every time we heard this come on the radio.. I remember having posters of wham on my walls
George is a legend.. check out his duet with Elton John don’t let the sun go down on me and his Freddie mercury tribute somebody to love.. almost 100k!! So happy for you ❤
You are too much fun, sir!!!! This is definitely one of the 80's finest!!!! I am a pretty new subscriber, and i have watched quite a few reactions already, and i have been enjoying them immensely!!!!
I saw him twice. His live voice was like no others . The way he delivered his songs and made you feel every single word was so exceptional and emotional. I’m so lucky that I saw him because it truly was an experience of a lifetime. What a beautiful, handsome human being he was.
I had this song as my morning alarm for a while lol, I actually got scared awake a few times lol after forgetting I set it to this song XDD Now it's " its not unusual" by Tom Jones haha.
The singer, George Michael, was one of the hottest people and voices of the 80s. Unfortunately, later in life, he let his demons get to him. For many stars, the fame and pressure was just too much for them. He was fantastic, tho, and made a lot of good music in the 80s.
Yep I always thought he was so good looking, sad that after him and Andrew parted ways things went down hill for George woth his life anyway.. I think when he was with Andrew and they were wham Andrew looked out for his best friend
OkayRickk! We'll bail you out before we"go-go!" Love your joy. I loved the 70s 'cause I'm 72 now and I've tried to keep that young at heart peaceful feeling going in myself, too! ❤❤
This reaction video is great!! I see you 👀 chair dancing😂! I’m 54 and this was out when I was in highschool, never gave WHAM much second thoughts back then. Duran Duran was so big. Man did I miss out with this group. The songs and performances were stellar by WHAM. Definitely good clean music back then with these guys. Now George Michael on solo was a little more intense not so innocent. But man- these 2 guys were definitely original. Good music and good times. I miss the 80’s carefree times!! ❤❤ God Bless you and have a blessed summer !! Xo I subbed ! :))
Good insight with the gas station comment. No scratchers yet though. They wouldnt come out for another year until 1985.(in California that is) This here song is from 1984 😁
Which ever boyband was the popular one when you were a teen becomes your boyband.for me this was it. The lead singer went solo and became so famous as a solo star some people of certain gens have heard of him but don't know he was in wham first. George and the guitarist Andrew ridgly met at school and formed wham. Later they got two backing singers called pepsi and Shirley.goerge help set up Shirley with the guitarist of spandu ballet Martin kemp.they are still married.please do more wham and gold by Spandau ballet. Rip George

Wham! was great. Check out “Everything She Wants,” “A Different Corner” and “Careless Whisper.” I also recommend George Michael’s solo work, especially “Faith” and “Jesus to a Child”
Written by George Michael. Late George Michael did descrobe the dance 💃 style for this song: jitter bug! L 🤣 L RIP George Michael Suggested video 📹: Wham! performs Careless Whisper.

I feel blessed to have been a teenager back in the 80s. Those days were the best. ❤
Thank you Cathy!! I love Wham! This is one of my many favorites! Look you got Ric up and dancing laughing and smiling! I love it!
WHAM! hit the radio and MTV in my early teen years....and it was as fun as it looks in this video.
This is one of the few 80s songs my mom really likes. She's 75...
I always wanted to have an alarm clock that played that to get me up.
This was iconic!!
Such a 80’s classic. One of my favorite Wham songs ❤
