I'm definitely gonna keep that gun trick in mind. That seems like a great way to save on some cash in the early parts of the game. Always amazes me what small actions like this can do like how for some reason destroying Ryder's car during the mission that introduces barbers and restaurants in San Andreas skips a tutorial message once you replay it.

Loved that the islands in this werent locked off like gta was, spent the first 5 hours just knocking out activities. I still remember going to the second islands chop shop that excepted FBI cars and starting a fucking massacre to grind up about $100k to buy up what guns and ammo i could.

it's really admirable how volition had made this game through the trials and tribulations they had went through during development; how much detail they've put into it, how they secured big celebrities to do voice work, and everything else despite all the hardware limitations and how it was their first major project. truly goated.
I just don't understand what happened to SR2 graphics. SR1 looked so crisp, and SR2 looks like it has some weird disease or something. I've tried many graphics settings combinations, various 3rd party mods, and so on, and yet it still doesn't look as fine as SR1.
