dayumm. it looks like a merger of the fox and sn95, same fox structure but just a tad bit more curvy like the sn95. very cool, the 5.0 badge really seals it
I'm not going to invest much time or money into the current engine or trans because they will eventually be swapped out for all Ford stuff. I am interested in changing the rear diff though for a more aggressive gear ratio
Nobody wants them because we have a hard time finding parts. A lot of us want to keep it original. I love and enjoy mine. Just wish my dad was still here. I rather have my dad and not his car.
@@Jennstaple If you're talking about finding stuff like replacement, interior parts and plastic pieces, I totally get that, but that's not just a Mercedes thing that's common across the board with most cars that do not have a super high production number. I run into that same issue with my Lexus and Toyota projects. I lost my father when I was very young and I would trade any of my cars for him also
@@PoorManMods the biggest problem I’ve had with this car was that the keys were lost. I tried to get new keys from the dealership but they were no longer able to with my 97. I had to find the whole locking system on eBay. That was a major headache and it doesn’t work like it should. Let’s not talk about the hydraulic system. Just redid all the gaskets on the system in May this year. Just last week something gave out and I’m leaking fluid again when I close the top. Only when I close. 😩 Dad would say it’s still top down weather so the hard top doesn’t go on just yet.
@@PoorManMods still a nice car to drive. Tomorrow she will get breaks, changing out the dash lights and interior to a cool blue, new LED headlights. Lol I’m sure that’s going to be fun. 😂
heck you may find 17x8 its not like its a rare wheel .funny how we like and own some of the same cars .God bless man . This is so well done that I almost disliked the video immediately thinking you put a really bad Mercedes body kit on a foxbody. It took another browse and rereading to see otherwise
Still watching but do you have a link or part number for that steering wheel adapter? I've been looking for a spell and can't fins one that I know works. I'm guessing it uses the standard 6 bolt pattern as other aftermarket wheels. at the same time I see you've an interference issue for the turn stalks. What is the dish look like on your wheel? Thanks! I'm here because I saw your stuff on the FB Modified Merc page. I've an LS in my 92 R129.
this is the adapter that was a little to short and caused interference amzn.to/3MTwWIA this is the hub i kept that i liked much better amzn.to/3TC5faS The dish on the wheel is a pretty standard dish, its not a flat wheel, idk the exact specs though

So, if Mercedes' racing care are known as 'Silver Arrows', and this gen Mustangs are the Foxbodies, is this technically a "Silver Fox"?
