For Dante’s ultimate move you use sin devil trigger (aka holding L1 or LB then release) and press x and y (square or triangle) to use the ultimate move

I love the fact that the summons appear to have boss themes that are remixed versions of their original boss themes from the first Devil May Cry.

It's not about the arm. Nero was the first person to ever show Vergil true kindness (or kindness he could accept) and he aided him when he was dying as V. So Vergil is thanking him for that, not the arm.

It makes me sad seeing people play dante and only using the sword style and 1 weapon.. dante is such a flexible character.
I did that in my first playthrough bc i wasn't very great at combos, afterwards i started doing them and i regret not doing it

I was kind of bummed when Nero got into the van and Lady didn't say anything. She knew Vergil pretty damn well, better than the other three and that's for sure.

@@FatalFist yea and she only interacted with him ONCE and it was during Dante's second fight with Vergil and it was her saying he forced arkham into it to which Vergil calls her a foolish girl for thinking that and that's it for their interaction.
The next time they're even close to each other he walks by her but by the time she looks up he was already through the door to help Dante with Arkham.
At the end Dante said "Took out more than you did. You ready to accept defeat, Vergil?"
That's the dialogue when you killed more enemies there than him. There is a different one if you under-perform.

19:23 the reason why Griphon, Shadow and Nightmare do that is because...they had business without acomplish since devil may cry 1...because they were betrayed by their former master Mundus. So They wanted a new oportunity to die pridefully. So Griphon...since that unfair execution in the Colosseum of Mallet Island....wanted a rematch with Dante without the interference of Mundus. So Dante, reminded his former enemies in Mallet Inslad and granted them a Farewell.
If anyone wondering why Vergil at 50:22 does the Stinger WITH the Yamato like Dante did, it is a long history to be told lol.
It all started back in DMC1, an unlockable costume for Dante that makes him wear the Sparda costume. Back then, Yamato's moveset was pretty much uses the default sword moveset you got from DMC1, including the Stinger itself. Good to see they keeping with the tradition i guess lol.

Lol, It's because he ate the Qliphot Apple. That apple grants a demon immense power. Power that is enough to rule over all demons. That's what Mundus ate to become demon king. So technically, Vergil is now demon king
It's a regular dt, not sin. It's just buffed from the Qliphoth
