I always found the confrontation funny when Vergil combines himself whole again and Dante fighting him after a few attacks Dante gets pushed back and he just goes "get out of my way nero" like it was his fault and he's in the way that's why he can't land a blow 😆
Does anyone else feel that sad song when Dante asked Vergil how did it feel catching up with your kid? I think Vergil would’ve have enjoyed catching up on the time he missed, with his son.
When he heard Nero’s cries (well, his angry primal screams) during their battle, he sounded so remorseful. He literally couldn’t bring himself to debate Nero’s points. He just sounded so incredibly remorseful.
Nero : *Bitchslap his uncle* Nero 10 minutes after : *Get double bitchslap by his father and his uncle* The point of the history ? Never slap your uncle if he got a sibling or you get double trouble
How did Vergil survive the mallet island incident? I could have sworn he died for the longest time, because he gave up his half of the amulet, which I thought he would never do
He was Mundus’s personal toy, for ten years, I think I read. Mundus picked his humanity off, piece by piece, like picking pieces of your own skin off with tweezers. He suffered utter agony day in and out, for years and years. And even when it was declared his humanity was ‘destroyed’, something had to have hung on, because he still fought back against Mundus’s control, and thus he was still tortured. Until one final slight I think, then he was permanently under Mundus’s control. He was then Nelo Angelo. Mundus’s prized b****. Vergil must have somehow been there still though, because he specifically titles that hell as “His time as Nelo Angelo” (well, Griffon says, Griffon being yet another part of Vergil until he lets himself rot to keep that memory from returning to Vergil)

Guessing that the female that watched him in the SE of DMC 4 would probably be Nero's mom. It is canonically before 3, supposedly, and that makes sense timeline wise. Never noticed that before honestly.
Vergil was weakened. On top of that Dante needed to use sparda's power to defeat mundus. Dmc 5 vergil will clap Mundus without even going to His Dt state. Ur profile pic character on the other hand Deadweight I mean will get destroyed my mundus🤣🤣
In the very first scene from DMC3 SE Arkham asks Vergil if he's looking for a book with the story of sparda but he responds with that's not what he's looking for... Was he looking for the book that V has in 5 during this scene...? Because I'm pretty sure the opening to DMC4 SE takes place before 3 so he would've been with whoever Nero's mother is and maybe that's why he was looking in that library when he was approached
Actually, no. I remember somewhere on the manga, Vergil already had that book since he was a kid. The book was a collection of william blake poem. So whatever he was looking for, it must be a poem. And if it turns out to be one of william blake book, then i bet it was " The book of *Urizen* ".
Sure... but I honestly want DMC 6 to feature Vergil as the main character. The classic trope of the anti-hero finding true strength because of "emotions". By avenging his mother and protecting Nero from Mundus, Vergil will finally reach true (anime) power. And they can even use that outcome to set DMC7, Vergil will maybe get crazed for power once more because he just killed Mundus and there is a vacation in the underworld. Saying all that, give me the Sparda brothers or Sparda himself, but don't continue with Nero... he sucks
something i still find kinda interesting is in 5 dante gets the devil sword dante and vergil keeps the yamato. but dante has a history of hating his demon side while using a devil sword, and just the same vergil has hated his human side while using a human sword

1 hour pure Vergil?
*NOW I'M A LITTLE MOTIVATED*
I was expecting "Jackpot" But this works too
@@Batcena That's more of a Dante thing. Vergil kinda hates it even though they said it together as kids
*don't get so cocky*
7:30 Virgil thinks “hey, that sounds like a good line for a theme song”
"A storm is approaching." He says, actively walking away from the storm.
I've never played these games before, but this Vergil fellow is pretty neat
You should give them a try except DMC 2 you can skip that one.
@@smoker5989 lmao
@@smoker5989can guarantee. Don't waste your money on that one
@@smoker5989
Real ones play DMC2 as well in both discs.
Then mark it as sacrilege and proceed to warn everyone never to touch it.
Watching his (psychological) evolution make me realize and helping me understand how insanely powerful Vergil actually is in Devil May Cry 5
the scenes for the first vergil fight are so good. It's fun to watch Dante and Vergil banter but it also provides insight into Vergil's character
29:20 “yeah, but now u gonna be a test subject”: vergil 2019 said
I always found the confrontation funny when Vergil combines himself whole again and Dante fighting him after a few attacks Dante gets pushed back and he just goes "get out of my way nero" like it was his fault and he's in the way that's why he can't land a blow 😆
Nero scapegoat
I can never stop thinking dante used the yamato to shave his beard, then stopped shaving once he gave nero the yamato.
I don't even care that doesn't make sence or doesn't follow the plot and storyline, no one can change my mind.
Waiting someone to say that
I think he's so regret cause he thought for a long time that his mother did it to himself
1:04:26 I like how you skipped the flashback to how Nero got his DT and instead continued to play the clash stopping scene
DMC 4’s Vergil cutscenes are implied to take place before DMC 3
Yep because yamato isn't with him
@@lonty3584 ? Yeah it is
@@luisavila77 ? Dante's holding the yamato and Nero absorbed it so I'm saying you're right that DMC4 Vergil doesn't makes sense?
@@lonty3584 oh okay I see you worded what you said bizarrely
If you think about it
Yamato is a gate between humans and demons
While rebellion is the key to unlock someone's demonic side
now i know
Yamato seperates
(Vergil = V + Urizen)
Rebellion Combines
(DS Sparda + Dante = Sin devil trigger (Devil sword Dante))
Nero : *Bitchslap his uncle*
Nero 10 minutes after : *Get double bitchslap by his father and his uncle*
The point of the history ? Never slap your uncle if he got a sibling or you get double trouble
7:55 THE BEST PART
Urizen:Curse the moment you were born into this world.
Me: duh its your doing lmao
Watching this makes me realize how many easter eggs dmc 5 had jesus so many
Luke Skywalker : Nero, I knew that feeling
"First time?"
I am sure that DMC 4 SE is before DMC 3 and DMC 3 SE because it makes sense, and he made love before falling into Hell.
Yes, that's right.
@GrapeSkoda the anime takes place before 4 or 2 I think, coz lady still looks like a teenage girl and trish was already join Dante crew
@@fauzanramadhan9046 Anime takes place directly after DMC1.
If Vergil's 6'4/6'5, then Arkham can certainly try out for the NBA💀💀
Something worth noting: Vergil's storyline in DMC4 takes place before DMC3.
28:10 i want to cry at this moment
In the next game we better see Vergil sitting on a plastic chair and say something like “this is oddly comfortable”
Where did this plastic chair meme even come from? Everybody’s talking about and it makes no sense.
@@annajoellecloss3831 someone made a mod for the DMC5 replacing vergils throne with a plastic chair and everyone loves it even the devs
How did Vergil survive the mallet island incident? I could have sworn he died for the longest time, because he gave up his half of the amulet, which I thought he would never do
Pretty sure upon being sent back to the demon realm, he was forced to drop it.
@@Norinia wait, so how did virgil survive after being defeated as nelo angelo?
@@dudebro91-fn7rz No one knows, but he did, abiet in a failing body over X amount of years. (Not completely sure the timeline between 1 and 5 (I know 3 was before 1) but it was at least a few years of looking for Yamato)
Few seconds in Vergil puts book back in shelf and goes “POP” disappeared. That’s how MOTIVATED he is putting one book back in.😎
3:22 I just realized, how the hair of Vergil falls, and he acts almost like dante, wanting to show how fucking *PISSED* this man is
dmc 3 vergil voice suits him so much..like damn! he sounds so badass!
0:58 that " how dare you to talk about my parents in such terms!" I felt that...
When Nero's arm reacted to Vergil I just imagine the Yamato being like "M-Master? What happened to you? You're crumbling more than a cookie"
16:20 Wow. Epic Foreshadowing to their confrontation in DMC5.
“Give me The Yamato.”
“If you want it, then you’ll have to take it. But you already knew that.”
Vergil after knocking up some town's goth chick: "Well. I can't exactly call them misguided"
Guessing that the female that watched him in the SE of DMC 4 would probably be Nero's mom. It is canonically before 3, supposedly, and that makes sense timeline wise. Never noticed that before honestly.
“A storm is approaching…”
Bish you were talking to the storm
Virgil killed all those people just to break a tie with Dante. Epitome of sibling rivalry.
I've waited 20 years for this to happen
I miss DMC3's fight choreography so much!
29:18 . . . Vergil : If my father did it ,I shall be able to do it too 🔥. . .
A few moments later :
. . . 34:25 . . . 😂
LMAOO 🤣🤣🤣
He lowkey could won if he's in prime condition, since Mundus still weak at that time.
In the book is tell that Vergil could easily defeat Mundus at that time, but he was very weak because of the final fight againts Dante.
Vergil was weakened. On top of that Dante needed to use sparda's power to defeat mundus. Dmc 5 vergil will clap Mundus without even going to His Dt state. Ur profile pic character on the other hand Deadweight I mean will get destroyed my mundus🤣🤣
@@sindevil1142 dude can't take a Joke 😭
NOW WE ALL MOTIVATED
It sounded like Vergil was going to cry after he told Dante not to get in his way.
Me when I see the last cutscene:
Aww their bonding
VERGIL: The movie
It’s time fore them to make a DMC 6 that revolves around Sparda
DMC 0, perhaps?
This. All about how he became the dark knight. And they'll call it...
Devil Never Cried
Sure... but I honestly want DMC 6 to feature Vergil as the main character. Saying all that, give me the Sparda brothers or Sparda himself, but don't continue with Nero... he sucks
@@RRRRRRRRR33 Mundus is already dead....
@@RRRRRRRRR33 yeah about that.. mundus is already dead af

you know youre fucked when you threaten someone and then lightning strikes while he stares you down
1:08:23 dat twin moment right there
I've been looking for someone to make Vergil's cutscenes
something i still find kinda interesting is in 5 dante gets the devil sword dante and vergil keeps the yamato. but dante has a history of hating his demon side while using a devil sword, and just the same vergil has hated his human side while using a human sword
Dmc4 verjil is so unique And will never come back 😢
58:28 what i like here is how much mire seriously Dante takes the real Vergil as opposed to Urisen, you can hear it in his voice
