I enjoyed watching you make all these great tools and your shop is very professional and I always wished I had one like it. Thanks for all your work with the camera also. Never a lag in the filming. Don't pay any attention to the negative people as they wish they could do what you do~!! 💯💢💯
Same here. I have run into videos like this also where they offer you crack in the initial scene just to keep your attention throughout the video and then never giving you the crack. Now you are out on the street, looking for crack, stealing... just because of a bike chain with wingnuts.
I needed a pistol grip clamp. So I made one out of a new caulking gun that cost more than the clamp would've and took more time to make than it would've to go buy one, and now I have to buy a new caulking gun. Makes perfect sense
listen to the boss,,,,, don't forget to stop by for black coffee together... goes duit and goes natural so that you will increase your enthusiasm for work and add brothers thank you very much
If possible I utilize a drill press in tapping, that's what the center-drill pit at the other end of the tap chuck is for. I do like his drilling small pilot holes before larger ones, I definitely do that also with thicker metal.
Very good home made tools. Everyone can make these tools at home cos we all have drill machines. Drill bits grinding machines, lathe machines at home...
If you don't have any tools, then you won't need any of the tools he made here. The tools he made are useless by themselves, especially out-of-shop environment.
Some of those were really great. I liked the solder pot, and the nut cracker the most. However, in some cases he used tools bought at the store, to make tools... you can buy... at the same store.... um... ???
@@sachinmundra I get that, and if I thought I would never use the existing tool again... I dunno... It's still fun to watch, so good enough for me lol.
I think the point is. And I understand your need to kiss a complete strangers ass but. If you knew how much work goes into welding and fabricating it wouldn't make any sense to take a useful tool and turn it into another useful tool because you can. It isn't practical at all.
Honestly it's cool that you make all this stuff but if you have all these taps and dies on hand why don't you just buy some clamps and stuff. Seems like it would be worth the dollar to time ratio
In my heart, this man breaks into that shop at night to make all these tools, and leaves them for the actual employees that needed them to find them the next day. He's like a tool crafting vigilante, a Batman for small machine shops.
Like the elves who raided the lowly cobblers workshop one night, finished off his work for him & left a new pair of shoes which they made for him. I really am a sucker for deserve-ed acts of kindness. How about Y'all?
Brother You are best and hardworking God bless you Whatever you done, are guide book for self employed technicians and small scale manufacturers or maintenance people 🙏🏻
The table clamp could be improved by using a larger piece of square tubing sliding over the arm, attached to nuts on it's side which the crew goes thru, so the screw can be run from the outer end to the mast, and clamp anywhere in reach of the arm instead of just the outer end.
Ok everything I seen with the jack I can see worth making because the cost of those pre-made out ways the cost of making it.....BUT the others I just don't see any savings. The cost of those pre-made is nominal compared to the cost of material and his time considering his skills
Material costs and tool availability vary from place to place, some people just like making things, he can afford one for sure, and what kind of video would it be if he just filmed himself walking into a store, buying a press then ending the video?
What you pay for materials depends on how resourceful you are . I rarely need full plates or lengths of steel , so I pickup off cuts from a local fab shop super cheap , I also have a good relationship with a steel distributor that only sells full lengths of material , but if they get any flat bar or angle that’s bent or damaged in shipping ,they scrap it , so I buy it for about 20 cents on the dollar , I do the same with their plate sometimes they get plate with a little too much surface rust to sell to their “big customers “ so I pick it up cheap .

If a channel does this once it might be an oversight but the second time they use clickbait I just block them.

Okay to for the press, all the compression power is determined by the holding strength of those four top screws. Try harder.
Some clever stuff going on in that home shop. 👍
Nice job

Hey look everyone! I spent my day off making a tool I could have bought at the store. But now I cannot use it untill my next day off. Damn!

I think its about alternative and creative use of existing tools.

Now that is an engineer.
Nice that you home made a clamp from a caulking gun. However, they are already out there in many sizes.
Inspiring watching ideas like this
Some very good stuff here...
You are really a amazing skillful guy, hats off.
Great video, thanks for sharing 😁👏
Хорошая идея домкрат использовать.
Сразу подумал можно сделать пресс для яблочного сока.
Very well made stuff, but some not original and lots of drilling and tapping parts that could have been welded..
If you already have the right tools to make these tools then you don't need to make yourself any tools.
Where is the chain link tool that is on the thumb-nail? That was the reason I clicked here. Thumbs down from me for clickbait.
alright i learn something new only problem now is the tools
That's the point, you make your own.
Good ideas mash'Allah
Great tips.

You're going to hurt yourself messing around with those little bolted together presses...
WELD THEM AND REINFORCE THEM FFS!!!!
Nah, just use hot melt glue.
Hmmm. Yes. Better using chocolate then he won't hurt himself
But the little nut splitter at the end looked useful ,👍
@@Mike75575 Its enough to make it on one side. There is place that you can turn the nut
You showed some good ideas. But you cheapened you work by showing an intro picture that has nothing to do with your video. Don’t sell yourself short!!
Yeah, click bait. I have no patients for people that think they need to do it. Thumbs down for this.
