Same here. I have run into videos like this also where they offer you crack in the initial scene just to keep your attention throughout the video and then never giving you the crack. Now you are out on the street, looking for crack, stealing... just because of a bike chain with wingnuts.

The table clamp could be improved by using a larger piece of square tubing sliding over the arm, attached to nuts on it's side which the crew goes thru, so the screw can be run from the outer end to the mast, and clamp anywhere in reach of the arm instead of just the outer end.

You showed some good ideas. But you cheapened you work by showing an intro picture that has nothing to do with your video. Don’t sell yourself short!!

Strange how he has hundreds of dollars worth of thick plate steel laying around but can’t afford a press.

Material costs and tool availability vary from place to place, some people just like making things, he can afford one for sure, and what kind of video would it be if he just filmed himself walking into a store, buying a press then ending the video?

The tools that he is creating are absolutely portable and have multifunctional uses. A press on the other hand is……………….I need not say more!

What you pay for materials depends on how resourceful you are . I rarely need full plates or lengths of steel , so I pickup off cuts from a local fab shop super cheap , I also have a good relationship with a steel distributor that only sells full lengths of material , but if they get any flat bar or angle that’s bent or damaged in shipping ,they scrap it , so I buy it for about 20 cents on the dollar , I do the same with their plate sometimes they get plate with a little too much surface rust to sell to their “big customers “ so I pick it up cheap .
