They adopted Tommy last month. Wherever Geoff goes in the house Tommy follows him. Big sweetheart.
The guitar sound probably wasn;t his voice, he does create his musical backing using plugins on his keyboard. The dog never leaves Geoff's side. :)
That dog sits right by Geoff's feet and sleeps as he records. I can imagine it's the best massage for the doggy. Earth shaking bass and the smoothest, most hypnotic bass voice.
Geoff really enjoyed the scatting at the end. This was filmed at "a random studio in Orlando" as the PattyCake Production's studio was busy. This video was fueled by peanut butter and jam sandwiches. That's their new dog, Thomas the Moose aka Tommy. They were fostering him and decided to adopt him. There's a BTS video showing Geoff recording his video for "Trust in Me" and Tommy is sleeping through it all.
For a minute, I thought you were going to play that last note 10 times. You did it on Misty Mountains, lol!
We thought the "round" was wild, then he went to 'Slim" and held it forever!

Well, the Geoff magic is still working. I grew up with Jim Croce's music so this is incredibly welcome. He died way too early in a plane crash back in1973 after their concert. Love to hear Geoff do Time in a Bottle or maybe Operator.

Nah man, he's figured it out. He's just using the shadow clones, or "Clonestelluccis" as I like to call them, to do the cameras, lighting, and whatnot. He can just slip them some extra power. :P
My favorite thing about my comment here is that I typed this before you mentioned shadow clones at 6:40 . We on the same brainwaves here.

The reason I’m asking is there’s something amusing me that may amuse you; the first verse names “Jim” as being Jimmy Walker.
Jimmy Walker is the name of the actor who played the “Dy-no-MYTE!” character JJ.
And…just like that this song got a lot funnier for me picturing that particular Jimmy Walker.
