That's what I worry about with this show. The parents share 15 minutes of drama about their personal lives in exchange for a free DNA test, likely because they couldn't afford it, but what happens when these poor kids grow up and are trying to get jobs or live their lives and everyone can dig this up and watch it? Hmm, there's a reason lie detectors aren't accepted as evidence in a criminal court. I could be wrong, but I actually really think in this particular case the lie detector was actually wrong.
Yep I never trust them when they’re used because any kind of emotion that you have at the time of the test can make you guilty.

Treating lie detector results like a tiny piece of the puzzle combined with other evidence is one thing. Treating them like they are somehow magically 100% accurate or even 80% accurate is another.

The lie detector test PROVED he had a right to doubt her and she got lucky that her guess in who was the daddy was correct. You don’t get an apology because you guessed right. The only question the girl was asked was if she had slept with anyone else during the time of conception and she had. She admitted to sleeping with the Roomate but lied it said it was only during august which is the only reason judge gave them a paternity test since the guy was already on child support so clearly you didn’t even watch the case. She slept with someone else and there was a possibility the guy wasn’t the father. She just got lucky.
