Great content. For headphone viewers, consider making adjustments to the audio. All of the noise was coming out of one earphone for me. Had to switch my phone to mono audio for comfort

If im not wrong, Timbuk2 used to sell 'Velcro silencers' for the loud velcros haha. dont see them anymore but you can buy opposite end velcros to attach and make the bag easier to open.
Edit: they do sell them on the website, any chance you will bring in stock? haha

haha yes yes I know of those silencers but so far, no plans of bringing them in.

does the inside lining still use that rubbery material? i have 2 classic bags and both of them get sticky/break over time. it is such a shame as the bag itself still holding on

This doesn't happen anymore. This did happen on a bag of mine that was at least 20 years old and Timbuk2 replaced the lining. Now I have 3 different bags (oldest is about 10 years old) and they show no sign of breaking down.

@@chrisschaub7940 that is good to know. it is such a pain in the ass when that happens.

So far no complaints about it getting sticky or breaking down

Nice. Please do a review on ct4w and the comparison with other slings. A bit hesitant to buy since not a lot of review about it.

is the bottom of the laptop pocket padded? on my old school Timbuk2 messenger, the bottom of the bag is not padded.

sad, can't find the flight messenger in Canada anymore

I was wondering about this also. It looks like Timbuk2 recently update their flight line to look more like the regular messengers. The flight messengers were gone from their website but are back now... I assume the new ones will be coming to Canada soon.

Great video. Do you think the XS size of the bags (classic messenger or flight messenger) can hold a 13" laptop? Pretty cool to see the S size holding a 15" one. Thanks.

I have an M1 Macbook air that fits in the XS, but not in the tablet area. It is a tight fit and makes getting into the bag quite difficult. Without a sleeve on the laptop it will rub up against the metal zippers inside the bag. With a thin sleeve it will fit but stretches out the bag even more. I use a small size as my daily driver with a sleeve in it for the MBA.
