I personally wouldn’t be in a relationship with a guy for over 2 years if there wasn’t any talk of marriage going on because dating should ultimately be for the goal of marriage 😊

I´m getting married in two months and our story is kind of crazy as well. :) I do a volunteering in a homeless shelter and I´ve met my fiancé there. :) He was homeless only for 2 weeks, and it broke my heart to see a guy my age, really smart and nice, to be in this situation. I helped him to find an appartment, we were talking a lot and we´ve fell in love soon. Now he works as a social worker and he is helping people with similar issues as he´s been through. He is not christian, but he respects my boundaries. And I feel presence of God a lot due to our relationship, even though my loved one doesn´t know the Lord yet. I am not pressuring him because I believe that "where is love, there is God" and I think Lord has His own timing. :)
My husband and I were married for 11 years before he bent the knee. He was a proud, stubborn agnostic who assumed because he was smart (he’s an engineer), he must be right about the God thing. But, I kept the faith, loved him, encouraged him, and brought great Christian men around him. Those guys befriended him and later invited him into their small group and answered his many questions. In 1999, my dear husband became a Christian and we’ve been happily and equally yoked since then. Don’t give up!
