One of the best videos I've seen for a novice turner. Simple. Filmed perfectly for seeing the tool, flute, cut, measuring etc. Thank you! I will definitely look at more of your videos.
Your videos are very well done. You do an excellent job of talking through the project steps, but still keep it interesting.
Thanks!
Very well done! Thank you for including the iterations of your design. I find it helpful to see how others come up with and refine their ideas.
Beautiful candle stick holders. Enjoyed the turning and especially the pace of the video. Nicely done!
A lovely "calm" video. Well shot, lovely music, great result!
Well done

I really appreciate this video. I was trying to use a drill press post-lathe to get my hole for the candle. This is so much more elegant. Many thanks, wood friend.
For the benefit of us complete beginners, can you tell us what number grit you sand to, when do you apply the Sanding Sealant (if at all), and what did you use to finish the piece, wax, lacquer, polish, etc?
Good video, by the way. Thanks for making it 🙂
It was good to see the three versions. I have made things thicker on first go as well. This should help as I try my first candle holder. Thanks.
Your creativity is awesome 👌♥️♥️
Beautiful work both the candlestick holder and the video! Really like the panning camera :)
Wow great video and love the final product! I’ve just started up and you’ve given me some good tips.
Marc's right. Great job out of the gate!
Nicely done candlestick and video. Buying a lathe is a little while off for me, but now I really can't wait. On an amusing note, the wood chips on your arms looked a little like shaved chocolate.
Very cool video read about you on Instagram came over and saw your video and subscribed!!! Keep your videos coming!!!!👍👍👍👍👍
Great video! Thanks for showing.
Nicely Done!!!
Outstanding!
Miss the commentary you had in other videos where you explained dimensions of the witness marks
Just subbed your channel, heard about it from the Wood Whisperer offcuts channel, look forward to watching your woodshop vids.
Me too and me too.
Beautiful!
great video.
Absolutely lovely....!
I'd like to see you make a candlestand for a 3 inch diameter candle.
Really nice work!
Just got my first lathe and might try this candle holder. Great video. And by the way, who was the background music? I'm a musician as well. It was beautiful.
Thanks. Nice job. (Although this has not occurred to me before, it is sort of a shame that so much wood is lost to create these elegant pieces)
I was thinking the very same thing. That was one large piece of (walnut). Too bad you didn’t start with a much smaller piece. In the end, nice design.
Its a really pretty design. Do you have some dimensions you could share?
Excellent work. Interesting use of the point tool; I'll have to try that (for small hollowing). Where do you get your wood? I cannot find pieces of walnut that big. I usually end up with glued-up blanks.
Sir i have a question... which kind of material use in the top of holder..... and what is the name oof that thing. You fixed inside of the holder top to.. plug candle.. will you give me link or something about that plate. Cuz i want buy that
very beautiful shape!
is it walnut? May I ask what did you sanded it and what did you finished it with?
Very nice! What is the tool you used to make the hollow for the candlestick?
What is the measurement you used for the hole at the end for the candle to sit in?
The Sonoran Woodshop thank you much. Excellent work
Is there a reason you started with such a large blank?
