Do his Special Olympics bit. That's a really good one!

I grew up in central PA near Shane Gillis' hometown. It's near Three Mile Island and I think the radiation did something to warp our senses of humor.

Do more from his Austin, Texas special. The new one is good but the one before that was like a top 5 special of all time.

Can’t go wrong with any Gillis content. His sketch show is hilarious (gilly and Keeves), his two specials (live in Austin & Beautiful Dogs) are both incredible.

Nah man, politics can break apart families here. Democrats and Republicans these days are like arch rivals in sports, except 1,000x worse. Even disagreeing a little bit with one view someone has can start a fight.

Compounded by online communication... Or miscommunication
When you take a step back it's like everyone wants very similar things but the way the conversation is set up if for two sides to polarize each other.

I am old..59...but back in the 70s you could talk about politics and agree to disagree. Allowing someone to hold their beliefs and still maintain family or social interaction with them did not mean you betrayed your own. Now, it's the other side is pure evil, and they shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinions. So, both extremes retreat into their own echo chambers, in personal and medial life, where we only hear our own opinions reinforced..so of course, we know them to be more correct when voiced by everyone we hear in our echo chamber.

Because they compare their politics to their own belief system. Instead of finding common ground with anyone. They go back to the political belief.

Heck, I even mention politics in your comments section and people try to shush me. It's just not a good idea to talk politics in public here. He rides the line well, as do most comedians who are successful, but the average joe is just asking for trouble bringing the topic up here in the US. Glad you're enjoying him. I've not seen much of his comedy, so don't have anything to recommend, but I look forward to more reactions to him. :)

Hi Kabir! This is my first time seeing this guy. If you haven't already, check out Jim Gaffigan. He's got some really good observational humor, and is pretty clean as far as comedians go. Bill Engvall is another good pick.
Till next time, cheerio, pip pip and all that rot!

4:12 ya see kabir a lot of people of a particular party don't feel the same way you do...the party I'm talking about may surprise you given your European background. I vote against the way my state leans so of course I have friends that think differently, but as I have gotten older people will avoid you if you don't follow their political religion.

It’s recommended that you don’t talk politics or religion to anyone. Too much controversy leading at times to bitter arguments or even fisticuffs.

  • @knightspearhead5718

You can be friends as a democratic and republican but often times when you bring up political issues it will start a argument i live in a mostly Red State(Idaho) as a democrat and dont have a issue alot of the time.Thats why older people came up with the common sense rule to just not bring up politics, but ever since Trump politics has been as polarizing as ever
