Can’t go wrong with any Gillis content. His sketch show is hilarious (gilly and Keeves), his two specials (live in Austin & Beautiful Dogs) are both incredible.
Nah man, politics can break apart families here. Democrats and Republicans these days are like arch rivals in sports, except 1,000x worse. Even disagreeing a little bit with one view someone has can start a fight.
Compounded by online communication... Or miscommunication When you take a step back it's like everyone wants very similar things but the way the conversation is set up if for two sides to polarize each other.
I am old..59...but back in the 70s you could talk about politics and agree to disagree. Allowing someone to hold their beliefs and still maintain family or social interaction with them did not mean you betrayed your own. Now, it's the other side is pure evil, and they shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinions. So, both extremes retreat into their own echo chambers, in personal and medial life, where we only hear our own opinions reinforced..so of course, we know them to be more correct when voiced by everyone we hear in our echo chamber.
Heck, I even mention politics in your comments section and people try to shush me. It's just not a good idea to talk politics in public here. He rides the line well, as do most comedians who are successful, but the average joe is just asking for trouble bringing the topic up here in the US. Glad you're enjoying him. I've not seen much of his comedy, so don't have anything to recommend, but I look forward to more reactions to him. :)
Another banger from his lordship. I shouldn't wonder the Right Honourable Captain Viscount Kabir of Ayofe, KC might find Shane's Live in Austin special to be quite droll.
Hi Kabir! This is my first time seeing this guy. If you haven't already, check out Jim Gaffigan. He's got some really good observational humor, and is pretty clean as far as comedians go. Bill Engvall is another good pick. Till next time, cheerio, pip pip and all that rot!
I like a comedian name Adam Ray he has quite a bit of stuff on youtube. One of his best is his Dr. Phil live show where he does the whole show as Dr. Phil at the Comedy Store and has Bill Burr as his guest.
4:12 ya see kabir a lot of people of a particular party don't feel the same way you do...the party I'm talking about may surprise you given your European background. I vote against the way my state leans so of course I have friends that think differently, but as I have gotten older people will avoid you if you don't follow their political religion.
You can be friends as a democratic and republican but often times when you bring up political issues it will start a argument i live in a mostly Red State(Idaho) as a democrat and dont have a issue alot of the time.Thats why older people came up with the common sense rule to just not bring up politics, but ever since Trump politics has been as polarizing as ever
Kabir!! we can't do that here now with the political atmosphere the way that it is know you better not talk about it or somebody's going to get their feathers ruffled!!!
Kabir, I love your content but this is completely false. It’s a stereotype, like all black people only listen to rap. I’m white and I HATE country music! lol
Do his Special Olympics bit. That's a really good one!
I grew up in central PA near Shane Gillis' hometown. It's near Three Mile Island and I think the radiation did something to warp our senses of humor.
Do more from his Austin, Texas special. The new one is good but the one before that was like a top 5 special of all time.

Shane’s Gilly & Keeves episodes are hilarious! Uncle Day Care is my fav👏🏻🤣🤣🤣
There’s a ton of white people who don’t like country music. It’s not a white personal thing
But are they really white????
Most white people aren’t country fans but most country fans are white.
His latest special on Netflix is solid, very funny.
Pacific islanders love country music very much.
Yes Kabir , this guy was funny
More please . 😂😂❤

Because they compare their politics to their own belief system. Instead of finding common ground with anyone. They go back to the political belief.
Civil war, anyone?

Special Olympics is a must 👌🏻
Please check out Shane’s beautiful dogs and live from Austin.
Special Olympics is a great bit of his

Try anything from Ron White, Jeff Foxworthy or Bill Engvall.
Exceptional.
Love country and metal. He’s right tho country is literally what a dude is doing or what he’s going through
If you haven’t seen his bit on Special Olympics it is too funny
Try George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Sam Kinison..Dave Chappelle...

Now do a video for “why black people like rap”
Some of us strongly dislike it. I would much rather listen to the Blues.
Go old school with Rodney Dangerfield. He's the king of one liners.
I don’t think it’s only white people. But, with Country you can understand what they are saying.
Thanksgiving dinner rules: no talking about money, politics, or religion.
You need Doug Stanhope in your life. Mentally Ill vs Mentally Challenged is a GoaT bit.
I like Shane Gillis' jokes, honestly. He straight up ripped off Louis CK's delivery though.
This is gonna be good💀💀💀
😂 he’s funny 😂
John Pinette

Meh, he's ok. His sketch comedy bits are better than his stand up.
I'm not a fan of country music! My genre is 60's, 70's & 80's, rock!! Centering on 70's!
It’s recommended that you don’t talk politics or religion to anyone. Too much controversy leading at times to bitter arguments or even fisticuffs.
It can start fights too!

Trump 2024 on thanksgiving day
Okay he's funny. Way better than Bill Burr. I was laughing almost the whole time. 😂
