Sam Yaffa was just next door, and he asked us to hang with him! I actually talked to Sylvain in 1990 at his apartment for a few hours because he was starting a band. My friend saw an ad in the Recycler that said “looking to start a band influenced by NYD” and he put his name as “Syl”. We called him, and went and hung with him! My friend didn’t want to play with him because he’s a snob, but he also turned Marilyn Manson down too. He’s an idiot, but anyway… keep up the good work!

The sound guy in a pub in my neighboring town worked with Hanoi Rocks in the 80s and he told me about meeting Johnny and also driving Lemmy through half of Finland.
