In this video tutorial I will teach you tools like the shapes, shape builder, the pen tool, creating and organizing layers, curvature tool, and more to create stunning illustrations in Adobe Illustrator CC. This step by step illustrator tutorial is perfect is you're a beginner or an advanced designer looking to polish some techniques.

i find it weird sometimes when i use the shape builder tool it duplicates my shape underneath
i waste too many time for find stroke settings can you make a video for your design in illustrator
Stroke settings are black stroke, rounded caps and corners and try to make it thick :)
How to create a step by step "how to draw fan art"?
When sketching your ideas do you look at a reference, because I know sketching from imagination is sometimes difficult.
I always look at a reference and sometimes multiple references sometimes :)

Hi Dom, Can I color like you and use shape builder when I trace the image instead of using pentool to draw. Thanks for the video
Have you tried selecting all the line work and using the divide pathfinder operation to get the shapes for the colors? It essentially makes a shape out of every enclosed area and deletes everything these (i.e. all the excess lines that don’t contribute to creating a shape). Then you can fill the enclosed shapes with color. Just another method to maybe try out.
