Could be enjoy both. I love to wear small watch when want to stay low and be myself sometimes. And I prefer to wear big watch when feeling outgoing, extent my image. I have g shock mudmaster, love it, I have explorer 36, love it too. Those who chose either one are losing half of the fun of wearing a watch
The Rolex Exp2 226570 Polar is an amazing watch, and arguably the best daily driver and all-around travel/adventure watch in the Rolex sports lineup. It’s also got a very happy, upbeat dial and fun vibe. I think it’s an underrated gem that most people can’t really appreciate until they have it on their wrist. It’s fantastic in the metal. Enjoyed the video.
Me too, got the same watch about a month ago. It wears smaller than it's size, somehow. Especially after wearing it for a few minutes, it feels lighter than when you put it on....
Looks great on you and it is a lot more watch than an OP. Congratulations. I’ve had the 40 mm previously and also the first 42 mm edition both of which I sold. I’m on the list now for this new version which I will keep. Great video.
I bought the 40mm polar Explorer II and liked it, but the black dial 42mm kept pulling me in. I found a good deal on one and purchased thinking I could easily resell it if I didn’t like it. However it fits so well, and fits my lifestyle perfectly as well that it has become my daily wear and a permanent part of my collection. I love it so much for the same reasons that you stated. The 40mm polar is now up for sale
Hey Andy. Totally understand your feelings in this video. I bought my Explorer 2 back in 2015 for a milestone birthday, and it remains my most worn Rolex. Even though I have others like Subs, DJs, GMT, YM. The polar dial and orange is absolute perfection. What you said is so true - this is the ideal under the radar Rolex tool watch. I can throw this on anytime wearing anything. No regrets at all.
I got my polar 226570 a month ago as well, and I think it is so comfortable because the bigger bracelet balances out the watch head and just hugs the wrist very well. In fact, I think it has some invisible glue too, because like you, I can't take it off my wrist and all my other watches have been collecting dust ever since I got it. I also think the larger size, white dial, and orange accents make it feel like a toy in a good way, and whenever I look down at it I feel like a kid with a new toy. My sub, on the other hand, makes me feel like a grown-up, which is mostly boring.
Nice video, I have the old and new sea- dwellers and was also worried that the 43mm would be too big but you very quickly get used to the size, the old 40mm is still the classic and never seems to date!! Keep the videos coming👍
I’m still watching the vid and i love it. I have a 36 E1 and i feel like you, that’s why im deciding to wear the E2 for a long period and share it. What a watch aye! Lovely watches and shots. 🙌🏾👍🏾💪🏾
I'm happy you like it. I love the modern xemplorer two I own both the black dial 216570 with black dial and black paint at the base of the hands and a polar 226570. My favorites trollies from all the entire catalog. I have wearing constantly for 7 years despite 30 years of collecting and 20 pieces on my collection. You are right the Lume is great.
I’ve had mine (216570) for several years now. Still love it. Considering my 2nd Rolex purchase here soon, but will not be getting rid of my polar exp2.
The watch looks great on your wrist. I tried it and it was too big for me - the biggest watch I have is a Planet Ocean 39.5 and that maxes out my wrist. My 36mm Explorer 1 and my 38mm Aqua Terra are the best sizes for me.
I own this watch the 40mm explorer 1 and a 40mm YM blue dial and hands down love my two explorers. Not so flashy just great build and quality. At the end of the day you know what you have on your wrist. 😊
I've got the black face version it's perfect. The only downside is I try to baby it because rolex are so expensive now, I only wear it to the office or dinner.
I still think the explorer I is the most tooly Rolex watch. The one no one notices. And for me it’s the most beautiful. But I agree the Explorer II is stunning!
The Rolex Submariner is worn by the distinguished executive. He works hard, and gives back to his community. He's also a family man. The Cartier Tank is worn by his beautiful wife. The Explorer 2 polar is worn by her boyfriend.
Feel like you should really write a script. You are repeating the same word over and over again, and without giving a really valid reason. You just keep repeating "it feels right," which does not deliver any useful information about this watch.
In some videos i do, some i don’t. English is not my first language so thats why sometimes i struggle. Ill try to get better!! Thanks for watching and giving your point of view and recommendations!
Thanks for watching, i love my explorer 2 i wont change my mind in fact i will make another video about it kinda like a review of 6 months or so owning it
@@AndySTWTYou’ve clearly convinced yourself of what you want to believe. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the watch is too big for your wrist.
Class watch. Refreshing to see someone enjoying a bigger watch & not jumping on the ‘tiny watches are cool’ bandwagon.
I 100pct agree. I don't understand the small watch bandwagon after all watch journalists loved them for years. It is all marketing for me.

Small watch is only a thing on online forums not real life
Great choice! It does NOT look too big on your wrist. Congrats.

I've had my Explorer 2 Polar for about a month now and absolutely love it!
Yeaaah! Welcome wear it in good health! Is just the best!

Im super happy to hear this! I totally agree with you too! Thanks for watching!
You’ve made me appreciate watches even though I’m not really a watch enthusiast.
Very nice cinematography and wrist shots! Thanks for making this video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!

Sporting an explorer prev reference 42 past 7 years. amazing watch, got a bluesy for more formal events

Fantastic watch, with an upbeat, happy dial to look at. No modern Rolex is cooler or easier to read at a glance than the Exp2 Polar. So, great choice!
Well said! thanks man! Thanks for watching! cheers!

Lovely watches and shots. 🙌🏾👍🏾💪🏾

I have this watch too with only a 6" wrist. I love it. So comfortable.
The polar Explorer 2 is just a stunning watch… stylish… and classy… like a british nobel person
Thank you, currently testing mine 🙌🏾
I’ve had mine (216570) for several years now. Still love it. Considering my 2nd Rolex purchase here soon, but will not be getting rid of my polar exp2.
Looks good! What’s your wrist size??
@@Whattimeisit-s8r I did watch it, I might’ve just missed it :/
Had mine 6 years, black face, love it been everywhere in the sea, desert the lot. Understated and bullet proof ❤

Very nice! thanks for sharing! totally agree is not as flashy and really if you out it on a nato strap nobody will turn to look at your watch
I own sinds two years an explorer II 226570 with the black dial, it’s my favorite watch to wear it’s just an amazing pice 😀😀
Hi - should I keep my 41mm Datejust or trade it in for the Explorer II?
I've got the black face version it's perfect. The only downside is I try to baby it because rolex are so expensive now, I only wear it to the office or dinner.
Own both a month apart 226570 from mid 2023 polar and black dial love them both.
What is ur wrist size and what was the dial size for this watch u tested?
Polar belongs on an oyster. If one must wear a NATO, get the black dial. Or better still, a seiko.
I just love how this watch looks in low light conditions.
The idea of shooting in RAW is that you can apply color grading afterwards.
I know im still learning my first time I attempt to do raw
If you have some tips would help alot! Thanks!
I still think the explorer I is the most tooly Rolex watch. The one no one notices. And for me it’s the most beautiful. But I agree the Explorer II is stunning!
Exactly! Yea! That is so true. Exp2 if it was 40 it would be as stealthy as de exp1
Is it me, or does the crown look too small for the size of the watch at 42mm?
It is actually small but i like that feature cause it doesn’t disturb my wrist gives me more movement
The Rolex Submariner is worn by the distinguished executive. He works hard, and gives back to his community. He's also a family man.
The Cartier Tank is worn by his beautiful wife.
The Explorer 2 polar is worn by her boyfriend.
What is the case size?
I can’t get the perfect fit with mine, wish they had a glidelock..
My fav
Passer d’une op cadran vert à une explo2 😂😂
Unpopular rolex model why?
Its not the most “in demand” rolex not that its not well known or chose. And with the 42 mm is not everyone’s cup of tea.
I like everything but not the bazel.
I did too until I bought it now I love it

Your pauses during the video while talking are incredibly jarring.
Thank you ill take it into consideration! Thanks for watching
Painful to listen to
Thanks for watching, Good to know
Great watch, but it’s definitely too big for your wrist. Not a good look.
Thanks for watching, i love my explorer 2 i wont change my mind in fact i will make another video about it kinda like a review of 6 months or so owning it
