Freaking love this palette! Didn’t bought it immediately, so expensive but the love for the Remembrance palette, the fact that it is limited edition, the cool tones, the multiple one and done shades, the softness of the colors and not to forget the quality! Perfect for my 54 old oily eyelids😁 Love it!!
Thank you for comparisons, Colin. I love the softness of the Byredo formulas but I also experienced a fair amount of fall-out on the first go. Found that I had much less with a natural bristle (or duo fibre) brush than I did with a standard synthetic. My fave Singe Beauty brushes did these formulas no favor but Rephr worked great with a tap-off. Finger application also worked well. Overall, I adore this palette for its versatility, performance, and packaging; I expect it to land in my top 10 for the year.
I haven’t had issues with fallout from any of the palettes but I mostly use natural hair and always tap off so maybe that’s why. I am glad you are also loving it
I absolutely love this palette. The Byredo big palette formulas are fantastic. The more muted/desaturated tones in this palette are very special! They are unlike any other palette I have. I thought it might be too cool for me, but it works. I can see this being my favorite fall and winter palette. I’m wearing it a bunch because it’s new, but these tones just feel very fall/winter for me. It’s great for me because Remembrance is a great spring/summer palette. Just like they mixed the warm tones in Remembrance with silvers, I love that they put golds in with these cool tones. It’s such a great pop of contrast! I’ve actually used Mineralscapes with Remembrance too recently. (I am still mad at Past Lisa for passing on Flora Kalahari. It’s my biggest “palette that got away”regret. 😢)
I agree, these are unlike any other formula I have. I heard it's a different than the formula in the stone shaped palettes but I haven't tried them yet. I will definitely use with Remembrance now, can't wait to see how that works! Sorry this took a while to get back to, this week was a lot

Oohh! I loved the blue as a liner! I haven’t done that yet, but I will now! I love that brush for doing a soft shadow liner. I have been surprised hearing people say there’s a lot of fall out with this palette, but I always tap my brush, too. That must be why I haven’t had lots of fall out with this palette either!
I watched Charlotte's video since and she did not tap off, they are soft shadows so it definitely matters how much you pick up. I think brush type matters too, but I think more people need to tap off excess product in general to fix a lot of their complaints lol
Thanks for clarifying between Indie brand shades and this palette. I love my indie palettes. I also love this colour story. So it’s a hard decision to make. Especially with it being so expensive. x
When you pulled out LE Vega for comparison it finally clicked to why I was so drawn to this one! I think I’ll be passing on this just because I love my Flora Kalahari and it hasn’t seen enough love, and it’s practically summer already in Vegas and I think this palette would shine more in Seattle spring

I have had ZERO fall out on these at all btw, and I am not sure why Charlotte Holdcroft had such a hard time, especially with the greens, maybe brush choice? Anyway fell in love with these larger Byredo palettes at Remembrance (narrowly missed Flora Kalahari) and are now my favorite formulas just because it is impossible to do a bad look.

I picked this up and haven’t used it yet but excited to try! One thing I will say, I wish the packaging had more weight to it. It’s pretty light and cheap for the price tag. I wish it was more weighted like the PM motherships.

Something about the new Sigma Cool Neutrals palette very much echoes Mineralscapes to me. Fourteen pans, $52 USD with free shipping via Neiman Marcus. Sigma makes respectable eye shadows, though I'm truly impressed with Byredo's formulas.

It's so beautiful! It is definitely giving North Sea or Baltics, but also... pigeons? Love those kind of greys and the old coin green-golds. Packaging is my favourite so far. I have not yet tried Byredo and will not get opportunity to swatch it. What brand's formula of your collection would you say is similar to each formula in this palette? I think I will like the mattes and satins, but I am picky when it goes to thicker metallics.
I feel the satins and metallics are most similar to pat. Even the thicker ones have that creaminess and softness. Not thick like Sydney Grace or anything. Just thicker than the satins. The mattes are very silky. Steven said similar to givenchy but I haven’t tried theirs. I would say the silk of Lisa but less grip and substance or like the YSL I just got but more silky and finely milled.

I wonder if this palette is too desaturated for deeper skin tones. 🤔 I’m olive undertoned medium-tan (toward deep in summer).
I have seen deeper skin tones use it and thought it still worked. I would check out Beauty and Frizz and Alicia Archer’s videos
