Can't believe I hadn't seen this already! Awesome to see you 2 having a bit of chat and banter again, great roundup too, and you can't say that Paul didn't try. Maybe too hard! 💪😎
8:05 - two circuits I've raced at that can be done both ways - Oregon Raceway Park and Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. Both are fairly minor circuits though. Both suit Caterhams really well - ORP is one of my favourite tracks with some big elevation changes. I have also heard of people doing Llihrednuht (i.e. Thunderhill backwards) but there's some really sketchy turns doing it that way round, so it's not common, and I don't think they ever actually race that direction.
I really thought you were going to get away it at Knockhill! Loved Brands and the oversteer moments. Great driving Paul and fair play to driving all the way to/from Croft, main thing is you had fun.
23:50 - odd - I've never heard of or experienced knockoff in a Caterham. I know the E30 chaps talk about it all the time, and I see them flashing their lights down the straight, but never in a Seven. I drive the equivalent of a 420R - is there something special about the Academy brake setup that can cause it?
It's quite common Tom, but possibly some drivers are more sensitive to it (including myself!). It's just down to the amount of deflection the wheel bearing allows on the hub/disc. I've fitted anti-knockback springs in my AP calipers which helps but usually I still find a brush of the pedal with the left foot along a straight gets the brakes nice and ready for the next corner.

Not sure, will have to find out on this one! 👍
