Either bite the bullet, at least for your teammates in match and somehow edit your voice out, or just let it out. No one is going to judge you, everyone sounds different and that's okay! Played on supreme in csgo, in cs2 my ranking is at 11k and so many don’t give proper calls it’s like why do they have a microphone when not fucking using it ? Loosing a game is totally okay but playing certain amounts of rounds with people who don’t talk get me mad as fuck 😂
If you really want to reach a higher point as a CS Player, I recommend you learn the most essential thing. Counter-Strafing. You should also try yourself out with different Resolutions (As in Stretched or Native) If you want to go for Stretched, I recommend a Standard resolution wich is very commonly used. Its 1440x1080, If you feel daring you can go for something more aggresive like 1280x960. Having Trigger Discipline will also help you Win countless duels. I would also recommend turning off Crosshair follows Spray as having a Steady Crosshair in the middle of ur screen will help you aim better eventually. Good luck on ur Journey from Germany.
It's a very competitive game on the top, You'll have to put hours on hours trying your best at improving at different aspects of the game. It's not an easy task, its something earned. Good luck : )
okay so word of advice since you'll be grinding it I don't want you to stay stuck feeling like you can't get better 1) Play different maps and get comfortable with different weapons 2) Learn recoil patterns and when to spray when to tap and when to burst 3) Movement is key, learn to counter strafe 4) Crosshair placement, always keep your aim where you think the enemy could be, you have no idea how much time it takes to drag your mouse to the enemy 5) Positioning, if you can't out aim your enemy then outsmart the enemy catch them off guard 6) The most important, Counter strike is a team game so you have to learn how to communicate effectively and coordinate with a team 7) You absolutely can't be a pro unless you learn to play with a team, this game can't be won alone no matter how skilled you are

I wish you best in your goal. If you want to get better I suggest hiring a coach as it will help you so much in your journey. Also, I am not trying to be funny, but it sounds like you are too old already (I'm guessing you are around 25-30 since you have worked in retail for 16 years). and there are kids younger with more time to grind CS2, with faster reflexes who will inevitably beat you in the race of becoming a pro, so please consider that. Gaining skill and experience takes longer when your equipment slows you down most people start off with hand-me-downs or simply shit equipment. I don't think quitting your job yet is a good idea. Unless you have decent peripherals that CAN'T slow you down then I say get some money and upgrade your stuff. A 60hz monitor is enough for casual play but on faceit it's obsolete. Faceit is simply too competitive to let material stuff slow you down. You play well, there's still a lot of room for improvement but in order to improve faster and steadier I suggest you make sure you have decent equipment. If you look up "pro's name" setup, youll find that players exact PC configuration, his mouse, his keyboard, monitor, etc. I recommend having at least a 144/165 hz monitor, a mousepad, a mouse that will not jump around if you move it too fast ( i recommend the HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro or the Razer Deathadder, both are great for their price). In december 2023 I decided that if I managed to save up an emergency fund and pay off my debts I would go all in on gaming and content creation in order to find a better way of living for myself. - the idea has been in my head for almost 5 years, but now that the time of leaving my job is closing in…. I feel amazing!
So lets say you made your steam account with like 10 years old. Which is early I would say. That makes you 29 years old. You want to get into Pro CS while pushing 30? @@Memphisplays_ turn off "follow recoil crosshair", its a good crutch for people who don't know the spray patterns but once you learn them its very annoying. Depending on your specs I'd also look into ensuring your game is optimized, you'll have a hard time keeping up once you get to the higher faceit ranks if you have a ton of latency/low frames

I think you should try to join (or create) a team. You'll learn how to move/communicate as a team. NEVER be the best of the team. You'll learn much more if your the weakest (or one of them).. Don't grind games (just for winning), grind only experiences about teammate, you'll learn by watching good players in your team. You'll find tips that they'll give you.

@@Memphisplays_ You don't need comms until you get high level like Faceit 7 or 8, also for some credibility ive played ESEA Seaons with level 10s
