I like the enthusiasm of the interviewer, really has done her homework, but more superbly has self and historical knowledge of the topics at hand. Her ability to make the interview feel like a conversation is astounding!
You wouldn't have got the same out of Akala if the interviewer hadn't had been as clued up as she was. She seemed like a very intelligent, educated and intellectual women.
One of the best interviews ive seen i felt like a fly on the wall listening to this conversation rather than a question and answer session nuff props to her for doing a great job and akala he jus don't disappoint
This is a not only a thought provoking interview; it is also both inspiring and edifying. Respect to Akala for yet another brilliant demonstration of how knowledge is power.
Being able to produce this is not as easy and simple as it looks. I thank you both for sharing this with the world. The sounds like a good read. It's gonna be on my list.
Jacob Daducer mainstream artist's are mainstream artist's for a reason. If the general cultural narrative was truth and equality then Akala would be a mainstream artist.
Jacob Daducer AkALA is extremely very knowledgable guy and most people don’t know he’s mathematically gifted....for me he’s very genius guy...we’re just like to have this guy on this planet 🌍....period
Properly commend the interviewee on the questions, but also because Akala is a very intense passionate guy (in the best possible way) and I'm not sure everyone could handle that but brilliant interview regardless.
Fantastic interview. The man Akala is an intellectual juggernaut. Which explains why he is kept off the Mainstream media. Some of issues he touched on in this video has been stuff that has troubled me for years. I still have not got all the answers(don't think I ever will) but this has certainly nudged me in the right direction. Knowledge is Power.
Fantastic interview. Very refreshing to hear these views explored and expressed unapologetically, and with such a level of directness and certainty which is thought provoking. Very much looking forward to reading the book now. Great content all round.
I would love to have a conversation with Akala, he has so much passion and knowledge, even now seven years later he is still so active... as he says, history is a slow process... I am hoping that we can see meaningful and lasting change for the better...
I thought this was a good interview, but I feel like the interviewer could've let Akala's answers flow a bit more, instead of her sort of finishing off his sentences. Although, the questions raised were still good quality
I respect this guy, I have seen many like him when I travelled to Central Asia and Asia, lots of people are learning about their past greatness of civilization from Asia to Africa to the Americas and history, Thank you,
Akala makes a very important point here. That the ills of society affect its benefactors in very different, but nonetheless, negative ways. Whether its the example he uses here about racial stratification of society, or whether its patriarchy, or whether its social class. The negativity born out exists on both sides of the dividing lines. Of course one group in any context is negatively affected to greater degree, but these things cannot be destroyed without those on the other side of the dividing line recognising the negative aspects to white supremacy, patriarchy or private property based forms of socio-economic organisation. Spiritually, socially and developmentally we have so much more to gain than we could ever lose by destroying these dividing lines.
omg i did not know he was a vegan until now!!! I always wondered... ok he is officially my ideal man, could this dude get any more attractive right now.
I would actually correct him on his incidents with dreams. Numerous studies have concluded that the purpose of dreams and nightmares is to simulate an upcoming reality subconciously anticipated by the dreamer. This is why you will often have nightmares after watching scary films based on the same horror depicted in the film; your subconcious registers that horror as a threat. You will then dream a situation where you are confronted by that horror in order to prepare you for such a confrontation in reality. For this reason, dreams are crafted to be somewhat generic, and will often revolve around events or situations that you are aware (or at least entertaining the possibility) you'll be in in the near future. So the truth is, there is absolutely and definitely a rational scientific explanation for such dreams. Having said that, the rest of the interview was mostly decent. Big up.
Intriguing interview! This book sounds interesting and I'm glad I got to watch this convo first, as it's given me a better understanding on the general scope and ideas presented in his book. I thought it was a good point when he demonstrated how white supremacy can be hard for white people as well due to their expectations to be above their black peers in some circumstances. Good video!
I love it. "Revolution is permanent, irreversible change". Well anyone who doesnt think we need a revolution needs a good slap. In the face. With a chair... and a dose of reality. I say this with respect for all my fellow beings but everything this guy says is true and we need more of this if we are ever going to reach a collective consciousness amoungst ourselves thay will allow us to achieve a new revolution...
tristan slaughter what "stability" do you speak of? You believe in a country who invades other countries as ling as your not the one in the invaded country? ?? There is no need for continuous "war" invasions nor the need to creat such acts of violence for the gain and power of the bankers. Why can human life have a right to prosper?

A really good interview and great insight into things. The girl had some great questions and points but i felt she could of spoken less when Akala was talking it was a little distracting. I'm a big fan of Akala and i agree with most of his points but lets not forget things are not as bad as they were 60/70 years ago or as bad as the slaves time. There are still injustice in the world you can not denied that but i think it now has got to the point were we need to change our self's because we have got that power.
I’ve also dreamed of things then experienced them years later. Sometimes experience in different countries that I never been to prior.. I always brushed it off but now I’m weirded out😬
Great Interview..it's nice to see the amount of people tackling white superior power systems it's about time..something great is happening..blacks awakening..
Enjoyed this but interviewer needs to stop trying to finish his sentences, you can express your agreement with a simple nod or wait once he completes his answer
Should have been obvious that the spurious intellectual that is Akala, would use the caliphate of Baghdad as an example of enlightenment. Which he has previously. Shallow knowledge of the era clearly.
Your absolutely right! Everyone deep down knows Akala is an idiot! We need more Oxford uni and Cambridge intellectuals to debunk his "facts". I say we need more protected, middle class rich white men from gated communities to speak on all of our behalves. How dare this young researched Blackman with his different perspectives and dreadlocks have an impact on the intellectual discussion around western thought. Those school teachers didn't abuse him enough in my humble opinion, so what if he was only 7! That teacher was clearly giving him the kind of help that young black children deserve! Thankyou for you honesty mate!
Mikel Truss Calm down chap. You clearly have a bee in your bonnet. Just be right when stating facts. Otherwise (and an education would have ensured you know this), they're not factual.
Mikel Truss No, you have not said what I'm thinking. I will make my position quite clear as it seems to elude you. Present nothing as fact unless there is verifiable evidence of its truth. Especially publicly. Running your gob off, as indeed we both can (because we now have public platforms to do so), yet providing misinformation veiled as truth, based on nothing more that your own ability to shout louder than the next guy, this is what I am thinking I detest and find the most contemptible of positions. Empty vessels and all. Forgive the imminent pun as well. Akala/Mikel. Same boat.
Very good discussion. To the current empire's highlighting great men like MLK his "peaceful resistance", I've always contended that this is what they want us to believe out of fear of what actually happened to take place again. It wasn't MLK alone that was there at the time, but he was chosen because he presented the least violence towards a revolution. Of course, they ignore everything that MLK has said because it counters their arguments. They only care for the "I have a dream..." part of the entire speech, which they can purposely take out of context.
I think he is promoting "Thought Revolution". A revolution of bringing real truth to our world history. When we look at history with objective truthful eyes. We will find a contribution from everyone. A wise person gains wisdom from understanding the pains and consequences of our past. So they never repeat the mistakes of the past. And to improve on the positive growth from our past.

Awesome interview, but the interviewer is is rather irritating since she wont keep quite and let Akala speak, we're here to watch Akala speak not her. i understand her intentions and she is only trying to be nice but its god damn annoying! . agreeing with the other comment.
Reckon that she is trying to steer the interview...atleast she knew her stuff....im sure Akala have a bad word to say about her, so I don't see why you have a problem.
I would agree with Erin here. I understand both points of view, however I thought the question prompts guided the interview nicely and even addressed some questions I wanted to know regarding ayahuasca and astro travelling. Akala didn't seem bothered by this as it felt like it was flowing like two people in conversation, so as a viewer it personally didn't bother me. I came to listen to the views and themes explored on the whole from Akala, and I got exactly that. On the whole I think it's great content with positive energy and intention from both of them.
Im not trying to be mean, its just how i felt towards her position on the interview, to be fair she did steer the interview. but the attempts just didnt stop. erin its a comment section, and its built for feedback, so this is my problem and my feedback. it matters not if Akala has a problem or not because i do.
she is interviewing akala therefore there must be communication...you expect her to mime or something? I think there was a great connection between them!
Akalla, 2 questions. Why are you always in the same colors ? If my first question has some truth, should a part of the revolution you talk about not include the ability to decide for yourself what you wear? Lastly when we talk as Black men we must make sure we show a good example to our youth. Allow one more question, if a White woman tans does she believe Blacks are superior? I am against skin bleaching but I understand that their are many women who bleach that are quite unaware of the racial implications it may have. If a White woman tans we do not attach any racial implications to it. We must be careful that we do not help the white supremacist push his idea that everyone would rather be white because it is simply not true, bleach or no bleach!
Idonigbo Obu I understand your comment but to excuse the pun it’s not all black and white, you have to understand the beauty ideal for some women is the Mediterranean look or more so the Italian/Spanish look. Truth is no one wants to look extreme, being extremely pale is not seen as attractive by anyone as is being extremely dark, but there is a line of how dark is acceptable by all, so women bleach, one thing also to remember is that most humans are similar in some form the other so you don’t fit that of what is supposedly the norm women especially will go to the ends of the earth to finds way to fit in with society and not feel like the odd one, this manifest in skin bleaching, weave, nose job, when a body is favoured by the West/European society then it also is favoured by black people, you don’t see black women wanting small butts or smaller lips, this because white society have decided it’s appealing
LOVE this, but if we are to be accurate, all ancient cultures acknowledged and embraced non-linear time -even Ancient Europe... which ironically was killed off en-mass by those that decided on linear time and societal systems and power. Those craving "power-over" (globally) killed off as much as they could of Shamanic cultural teachings of all cultures. And note, I am not identified as white/European..... Similarly, in popular culture, Voudoun and other non-Christian spiritualities are typically made fascinating, brimming with power, but super evil..... I'm glad Akala mentioned Voudoun, Druids, Taoism etc... It is not that Christianity in and of itself is "bad", but anyone who researches this trace of "modern civilization" will find that key spiritual practices were targeted to kill off Shamanic-based cultures, and key organized religions were used to control Western societies.
fabio1fabz my suggestion would be Conversations with God by Neal Donald Walsh. It is addressed more in Book 2 however I would recommend reading Book 1 first to prepare more for the continued dialogue in this eye opening trilogy.
He is wrong about Europeans and our perception of time. Pagan Europeans (from the Greeks, to the Romans, to the Germanic and Slavic tribes) believed in reincarnation, but not in the way portrayed by hinduism. In the Europe of old, we believed that souls of people got constantly reincarnated after death, thus you live many lives as different persons, yet some parts of you can still thrace back the past.
+Goat Lord IN FACT pretty much EVERYTHING he bables about is "dreams", "experiences" and "insights".....by his OWN admission.....SNAKE OIL CHARLATAN, sounds to me....
PAULO...HAHA I'M LAUGHING AT YOU.. I ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU ENSLAVED SOMEONE WHY TILL THIS DAY YOU HATE THEM. THERE IS SOMETHING GOING ON..THINK ABOUT IT
Write to the authors of those books and let them know they are wrong. My friend is West Indian (Indian) and she told me all the Gods they believe in. (Hinduism)
Bruh vudu is messing with spirits aka demons.. from someone who has family in that nonsense, dont get involved in that.. you could catch some nasty curse or even die if you mess with it wrong.. im with Jesus Christ so i reject that nonsense..

True, he is a clever pseudo-intellectual with a very seductive rhetoric to the totally or half uninformed fellow
truth hurts yeah.
Like to see him up against Peter Hitchens or Douglas Murray..now that would be interesting

Fantastic interview. Very refreshing to hear these views explored and expressed unapologetically, and with such a level of directness and certainty which is thought provoking. Very much looking forward to reading the book now. Great content all round.

D. Edun She wanted it to be more of a conversation than just Akala ranting his thoughts.

she had brilliant questions!!

It is not that Christianity in and of itself is "bad", but anyone who researches this trace of "modern civilization" will find that key spiritual practices were targeted to kill off Shamanic-based cultures, and key organized religions were used to control Western societies.

Could anyone suggests me a book on the topic on the many ways of understanding time , linear and non linear etc @12:45 @13:20. Thanks
fabio1fabz my suggestion would be Conversations with God by Neal Donald Walsh. It is addressed more in Book 2 however I would recommend reading Book 1 first to prepare more for the continued dialogue in this eye opening trilogy.
theanomaly1 Thanks a lot ! will have a quick look at them later
+fabio1fabz Read 'Revolt Against the Modern World' by Julius Evola.

Ethnically specific pathogens? What?!!

Write to the authors of those books and let them know they are wrong. My friend is West Indian (Indian) and she told me all the Gods they believe in. (Hinduism)
