I remember it very well, I was 8 yrs old at the time. It rained for days and affected so many in PA. We lived a block from a creek in a small town about an hour north of Harrisburg. Our basement was full of water but we were lucky it didn't come into the first floor. The streets and backyards were like rivers, it was just nuts. We had fish stuck in our fence between our yard and our neighbors and in our basement when we got the water pumped out.

hard to believe it has been 50 years. We lived near a creek and it transformed into a lake. Thank goodness we lived above the creek far enough to avoid flooding. Our house still flooded b/c of water coming off a nearby hill

I lived in lewisberry / rossvill in 72 I thought it was exciting after the waters went down / conowago creek was close to us I remember couches and above ground swimming pool 40 feet up in the air in tree and a top of bridge , I found a 4 chambered hand blown bottle right in the meddle of the creek, I was amazed it survived the flood, then some big kids try to take it from me, I fought both of them I wasn't giving that bottle up, to this day it is displayed in my home
