AndrewIRL i don’t use a metal tool on any surface that you can actually see. They have special plastic tools for this as well as painters tape.. this guy isn’t a professional and doesn’t seem to care. I would never remove a badge like this.

Looks great! One thing about the original oem badges, you can't put them back on the same way without removing the bumper and taking the trunk lid apart,at least not on my coupe. They are help with push nuts,and there is absolutely no way to get to them without removing that stuff. I had to use tape,which mine had none on the originals.
Bro, 3:20 - 4:38 was literally me when trying to do this the other day! Starting off gentle (as to preserve the badge) and progressively going harder as it became more and more frustrating until eventually... *SNAP* ! 😅
I removed all three of my badges from a 2010 civic using a credit card without breaking them, I would never use a screwdriver just so I won't scratch the paint, and I heated the 3M adhesive using a lighter so it can stick much better.
Looks clean man, love the Si in white. My emblems should be here in a few days, my SI is red though. Should look great in the front, not sure about the black. Also ordered the ‘carbon fiber’ insert that goes under the badge on the bottom of the steering wheel.
For the rear badge, I watch ProHonda use a hair dryer or heat gun first to the badge, then fishing line to separate the badge. Pop the trunk and there are two clips you need to push out. You could have easily saved that rear badge :) no worries tho you'll prob never use the original badges again anyway! I love the red badges on the white SI. Looks dope. Good job!

Have you noticed that the tint on the H emblem is off hue from the Si badge? The color of the badge is an orange red, where the Si is more of a strawberry red. I also noticed that the middle part of the H looks skinnier than what are supposed to be the genuine badges.

I don't think I'd stick anything onto the steering wheel over the airbag. I'd be afraid it would become a projectile if the airbag were to deploy, so you might want to reconsider that one... Or maybe I just have a morbid imagination!
I assemble the front si bumpers at hcm. Kind of a pain to take off the bumper and grill just to remove the emblem. Its just two push nuts tho that hold the emblem on.

Quick question... the link you provided the shipping address looks like they are coming from China. Are you sure those are the legit JDM badges from Japan or a set of knock offs? I just watched a comparison video that ProHonda put out and the labels on your packaging looks awfully orangey as they described the knock offs to look like. I just want to be sure I'm buying legit JDM and not China crap. I'll gladly pay extra for real deal badges. 60 bucks for all 3 seems to be cheap for them to be real.. but I could be wrong. Either way they look good, but personally I don't want any from China.
TTorres1183 no problem man. My buddy gave me an extra set and they’ve made life a lot easier. I have a 2016 Civic. I changed over to led bulbs and removing the taillights was so much easier with the plastic pry tools.

You need to look for plastic fishbones . I work in a car manufacturing plant and it saves you from scratching parts

lol, tip: If don’t have plastic tools, buy any size paint scrapper(s) from lime Home Depot and wrap with an old t-shirt rag.

Use rubbing alcohol not detail spray. detail spray contains oils that will impede a solid bond. He will find out in time.

What are the measurements for the front and back?
If you would of popped the trunk it has a release under the cover to take off the emblem
