I’m so glad Jude Law is getting roles like this! He can pull off period pieces so much more than other actors his age because he is aging naturally, no fillers and chin implants and hairpieces. He looks like a proper 50 year-old MAN. Not a 60 year-old trying to look 30, stunts and all.

Why the hell isn't MGM uploading this trailer, if you really want ur movie never to have any traction u upload it to Vertical, alongside the b-movie and VOD schlock, but I guess Hoult and Law aren't movie stars enough for this to have any success, even if the premise sounds pretty great, I mean some critics called it American History X meets Untouchables, or Mississippi Burning” by way of “Heat

What are you even talking about? Vertical is uploading it because they buys its usa rights of the movie and they will release in theatres, vertical is no more of b movie distributer they are now becoming a respected theatrical distributer and Jude law might not be a movie star like he was in 90s and early 200s but he is still big and popular name , currently to be lead in ron howard next movie which has popular names like Sydney Sweeney and ana and Nicolas holt is verge on being movie star and this movie director is very accomplished and respected one with great track record and this movie already got great reviews at prestigious vence film festival,I saw it and it's A level theatrical movie

@@wrestlinginfodude2644 modern movie stars don’t exist since very few names can assure a decent box office revenue anymore, Jude Law was a major star, and ppl recognise him still, but is he gonna be a box office draw? I hope so but I very much doubt it, without IP even the big stars of the 90s and early-2000s can’t assure an audience for a movie like this unfortunately. There’s so many fantastic festival films that I fear won’t have much of an mainstream audience, but i guess we’ll see, studios rarely spend enough money to market it anyways

The FBI agent portrayed by Law wrote about this case in his book The Street Agent,. Vertical wasn't too far off, actually. The agent also worked the Marie Hilley case & went undercover with the Marcello family. Kind of lame that Vertical never gave him credit.

they say every actor has a couple of eras- where they fit an archetype. most have one. if theyre lucky they have two.
Jude Law had his pretty boy phase early on- and then 20 years of ambiguous work- now i think is when his really interesting work begins- as a middle aged man with real character.
