I actually had a dream some years ago about him. I was on a ladder climbing to heaven, and I found him on the way also climbing he was exhausted and was almost falling off his ladder. It then occurred to me that I could help him not to fall off and thats what I did. When I woke up, I knew I had to pray and intercede for him. Thats what I have been doing ever since. And I wish all of you could have enough grace to do the same .

Denzel Washington was raised in church. His father was a Pastor in the Church of God in Christ in Brooklyn, NY. It is amazing to me, when God releases word of knowledge to people who have absolutely no contact with person they are speaking to or about. WHY? Why would God deliver a message to someone who does not know Denzel or have any communication or connection with him? As a preacher, I ask, why. When God releases a message to us to share with someone, it is for that person. Why share the message online via RUclips? I am sincerely questioning as I don't understand WHY? Denzel, yes an actor, but a member of West Angeles COGIC for years. The baptism you reference was at his fathers old church. When someone who was raised in church returns to their faith as they grow older, I find this normal. I was out of the ARC of safety for 21 + years and thank God daily for sparing my life while I was in sin, but more importantly, providing opportunity for me to return. I remember appreciating his teachings before he began incorporating these prophecies in this way. While I don’t doubt his sincerity, I’m just not fully convinced that God is calling him to speak about others in this manner. I understand the pressures of making a living online, and I know it's not easy, especially with the competition. Clickbait is a common strategy, but it feels off-putting when it's tied to the message of God. Yes, people in Hollywood or public figures may need prayer, but why does it have to be about calling them out publicly? Isn’t praying for them in private just as effective? I’m just not sure what good it does to put the spotlight on others like this, even if the intention is prayer. Maybe I’m wrong, and God is indeed telling him to speak out about specific people, but I’m struggling to see how it aligns with the kind of biblical teaching that I believe is true to the heart of God.

I believe God regards the fervent, effectual prayers of the righteous today as He did with Abraham with Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah because He is the same yesterday, today and forever. This does not eliminate Denzel's accountability to decide for himself but effectual prayers moves him towards that decision making moment. Prayers count and I'm living proof of that.

More people in the churches really need to stop looking on the outside of conditions and ask God what He thiinks about this or that situation. I didn't tell anyone either about my senses when I saw him being baptized. It felt off. I usually feel joyful. I was watching his wife's reaction. Then I had to stop watching because she didn't seem genuine either, like she knew. But knowing that his mom has always prayed; being a mom I wanted to believe her prayers were finally answered.
Wow, I found it very difficult to receive this word that you spoke. I have been a faithful member of my church for almost 30 years. And as long as I have been a member, Denzel Washington has been a member of the same church. I have seen the fruit of the spirit manifest in his life and marriage in ways beyond the average Christian. I do not know him personally, but I have seen and heard his story and have seen him interact with our pastor and bishop and our church at large. I know that Denzel comes from a family of ministers and that he was baptized when he was a young person and professed receiving the salvation of Jesus as a young person before he came to Hollywood. So this is not his first time being baptized he was re-baptized. In the video of the baptism you’ll notice he accepted the call to the ministry. So he is not just now getting saved. We all have at times fallen short and missed the mark at times in our lives just like Denzel. So I hope that this word you received it’s not an accurate one. I am praying for him and that God uses him mightily in Jesus name, amen.
When I saw that DW got baptised I thought it was great but then I watched the clip. It felt like it wasn’t quite right. It seemed to me to be more religious ceremony than an actual step towards God. I do not know this actor - but, I am touched by the grace and patience God is willing to show everyone. Like a Father who truly hates sin, because of what it is doing to His beloved children (who is all of us who truly want to be His children) - is willing to do the uncomfortable of pointing out the sins and errors, so that they can be fixed and changed, and His blood can wash over it, and remove it, and Gods Glory be demonstrated and happiness and joy filling the child can become reality - just like He long for.

It is amazing to me, when God releases word of knowledge to people who have absolutely no contact with person they are speaking to or about. WHY? Why would God deliver a message to someone who does not know Denzel or have any communication or connection with him? As a preacher, I ask, why. When God releases a message to us to share with someone, it is for that person. Why share the message online via RUclips? I am sincerely questioning as I don't understand WHY? When someone who was raised in church returns to their faith as they grow older, I find this normal. More people in the churches really need to stop looking on the outside of conditions and ask God what He thiinks about this or that situation. So this is not his first time being baptized he was re-baptized. In the video of the baptism you’ll notice he accepted the call to the ministry. So he is not just now getting saved. We all have at times fallen short and missed the mark at times in our lives just like Denzel. So I hope that this word you received it’s not an accurate one. Before you began to expound on Denzel I heard “he is deceived” and that even if he was a true convert he shouldn’t be a teacher but a babe in Christ at the very most.
I had my tv on the Golden Globes for just a couple minutes last night, but it was long enough to hear the host, (I don't know who she was), make two references to God.
1. She named some people & something about them & said "no mention of God."
2. She said, "In this Godless town." I don't remember the context of either part, I was just quick to change the channel. With that being said, Hollywood is a Godless town & they all need our prayers.

No, I have felt Denzel Washington was a nice man, but I felt something was "off" about him for the past few years.
This was confirmation for me as well. I also watched the baptism and was concerned about a couple of things. Jeremiah 17:9-10: "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives".

Then they wouldn’t be a prophet. By definition a prophet is meant to bring the Word to the people. I’m not saying this guy is a prophet I am just highlighting a prophets role. Plus the bible tells all of us to rebuke and exhort one another to lead people to repent (its context is those in the church) so this Word is inline with Gods character and instruction.

There is a very clear order to these things, that, if you really think about it, makes MUCH more sense than using YT to "Warn people about a certain person" - (By the way, I still don't know what the "warning" is about) - That word in the title is clearly used as Clickbait.

I'm still trying to sort it out. I don't agree with one side at all, but I'm not a fan of the other, either, and find myself defending that side against what I feel is an angry mob. I seem to get drawn into it, and I've noticed leaders are also. I feel like getting drawn into it is wrong also. I watched the baptism and that song pricked my spirit also. Our role is to pray for Him. He made the first step, he went public with his belief in Christ. It is The Holy Spirit who draws men unto Him, no one else. Let's focus on praying that Holy Spirit who does the Work, completes what He began. According to the Word, He is faithful and will do it.

I do not know this actor - but, I am touched by the grace and patience God is willing to show everyone. Like a Father who truly hates sin, because of what it is doing to His beloved children (who is all of us who truly want to be His children) - is willing to do the uncomfortable of pointing out the sins and errors, so that they can be fixed and changed, and His blood can wash over it, and remove it, and Gods Glory be demonstrated and happiness and joy filling the child can become reality - just like He long for.
