There were 2 live action movies referred as Kerberos saga, The first Called red spectacles and second Stray Dog. They came before Jin Roh and were set in the same universe as the 1999 Jin Roh. I don't mind that it's live action just as long as it's good.
Just not feeling this. The whole Kerberos saga created by Mamoru Oshii is pure alternative history science fiction. His Jin Roh anime is probably the closest he ever came to faithfully adapting what was on the page of the manga. Hell, even the two live action films he did just couldn't nail what was on the page in terms of that alternative, retro futuristic German/World War II, late 1960s setting. The Jin-Roh anime just hit it out of the park in terms of that stuff. Moving it to Korea and the not so distant future just gets us further away from the source material (kinda like what happened with the US version of Death Note). It looks faithful to the first chapter in the manga and the Jin-Roh anime in terms of the storyline with the lone Kerberos Panzer cop facing the fallout from not killing the Red Riding Hood terrorist but still there just seems to me to be a big disconnect from source material to what we see in this new trailer. It looks pretty (very Blade Runnerish) and it looks like a lot of money was put into it but I just wish Oshii had gotten that budget and been able to faithfully adapt what was on the page in the first place.
If this was made by China, main character will fly around with that heavy suit. If this was made by Japan, they will be a scene with katana fights and one guy kill 100 bad guys alone.
Armor looks too clean, almost like plastic cosplay. A bit more ruggedy wouldn't hurt. As a music for the trailer - Hungry Like The Wolf by Hidden Citizens.
This is stolen from "Jin-Roh". Like... cut-for-cut, from the look of the trailer. The armor design is an exact copy of that of Jin-Roh. ...And Jin-Roh gets it's basic premise and armor design from the 1987 live-action movie "the Red Spectacles". There is a reason they use nazi guns and look like nazi stormtroopers: it is set in an alternate history where the nazis won WW2 and expanded worldwide; fighting a long-running counterinsurgency against the native population of Japan (and presumably also in other locations).
Man I’ve been saying, Korea needs to do Anime Adaptations! This is great!
and more zombie movies
Yes it was good. Very close to the original Anime although I wish they had not changed the ending.
Nah this is shit

Wait 2029? Wow that's like six years from now. Oh wait, well this didn't age well.
If this was made by China, main character will fly around with that heavy suit. If this was made by Japan, they will be a scene with katana fights and one guy kill 100 bad guys alone.
Lol! Absolutely!
finally it’s made by Korean and have a love story again
Ju Mo oh yes. And he is actually rich guy disguised in armor suit. Then girl get cancer. Later they happen to be sibling....
This was made by Korea, so it sucks
Minho 😍😍😍😍
Korean adaptation better than Japan live action adaptation
Armor looks too clean, almost like plastic cosplay. A bit more ruggedy wouldn't hurt.
As a music for the trailer - Hungry Like The Wolf by Hidden Citizens.
and designed by art team from Iron man and Avengers.
Armor alone weight 30 kilos in movie, without mg42.
OMG!
Minho!!!

Dearst Jung woo sung!

거기서 따로 차출된애들이 인랑임.특기대 전체가 암살짓거리를 하지는 않음.
Something's cheasy.....

This movie is a pure piece of garbage
Other than the cool suit, trailer looks boring af.
anime was also boring too in my opinion.
ICE BERG It is than not then lol
Somebody got really inspired by the *KILLZONE* games and even the machine guns sound exactly the same. The Sounds are pretty metallic.
Lunatic Prime this is a live action version of the anime that came out way before killzone did.
So Killzone stole from Jin-Roh?
Lunatic Prime actually they are both based on German Stormtroopers.
I know that but German Sturmtruppen didn't have those red goggles.

Looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the original anime
So they copied "Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade"
It's a remake live action jinroh.
It's literally a remake. The title even says "The Wolf Brigade."
In Rang is "Jin Roh" in Korean.
Lol fail
ICE BERG HAR! HAR! NOT BAD LAD. NOT BAD.
