My goodness - that was a VERY complicated tiller. I think there were as many pasts and castings as you had in the little Kubota tractor restoration - the tiller parts were just a little smaller. I'm glad you have the skills to keep the old iron running. You are providing a great service to your countrymen! Very nice job.

I know, keeping costs down, is the most important thing.
I get it, minimum costs, otherwise it cant be done.
However quality of work is not first, but a very close second.
So i suggest you get or borrow a basic sandblaster.
You can filter your own abrasive material, collect, and filter again and again.
Yes, costs a little, get the cheapest possible or borrow from a friend, we all have to keep costs down.
Now, the main point, in the end, is when you are finished, the quality and looks of the finished product it so much better.
You'll get increased customers, and receive a bit more for your work.
Quality is second after cost, however, it is a close second, take the time and small increased costs to get above average results.
    With this gear, Nice Job.

Great video, but silicone gasket maker is not to be used with paper gaskets, use one or the other. An old drag racer/hot rod builder friend turned me on to a little trick... rub grease on both sides of gasket, then wipe most of it off. Now the next time the part has to be removed, the gasket doesn't stick & won't tear. No scraping is needed, just wipe clean..... I used to do like you, try it sometime & you will do it from then on
