mia zapatas murder case was one of the most SADDEST CASES ever that will go down in history of the world.....innocent just innocent and why do bad things happen to good people it's just so sad ..her murder should of never happend she should of been here today..RIP MIA u will never be forgotten .our heavy angel.

Mia was such a great singer and had such strong talent. She was taken from this world far too early. I have no doubt in my mind that if Mia had lived she and The Gits would have gone very far. It really is such a shame. And while this whole story is so sad, it's sort of heartwarming the way her friends and family rallied together to bring her killer to justice, you can tell she was really special to a lot of people. R.I.P Mia.♥

I was incredibly blessed to see the Gits at Al's Bar in downtown LA. Mia was fantastic, so talented. Such a great band.

This documentary kicks ass. Done with class, heart and dedication. What an ending to this terrible tragedy. Netflix gives it a 4.5. IMDB has a similar great rating.

@LucidNation - No Problem . I love The Gits & Joan Jett. I did alot myself to HELP try and spread the word when Mia was Murdered to help find this asshole. I went to 5 shows when Joan Jett was touring as Evil Stig and handed out flyers , t-shirts, coffee mugs anything to get the word out there to help find Mia's killer and although it took years to catch this sick fuck , I'm glad justice was served ! RIP MIA ZAPATA !

I was shocked when I first saw the mugshot of her killer. I have never seen anyone look so evil. You can see the "blackness" of his soul in his mugshot.

I can't believe that piece of shit did what he did. They said if he didn't strangle her she would have died anyway from the injuries, this man beat her that bad. Sorry if I offend anyone by putting images in your head, I can't help it this makes me angry. This man does not deserve to breathe oxygen. They should have taken this monster out in the street and either blew his brains out, or let the family and friends torture and beat him to death. An eye for an eye. I felt a special ache in my heart for Mia's dad, I have two daughters and I can't even imagine. Rest in peace Mia.

jimmy fabs I agree with you. He should have got life in prison at the very minimum. But I think he should have been put to death or let the inmates beat him & leave him to die from the beating. But he's a big fucker & probably can fight. Fuck this really makes me sad. I don't like feeling such vitriol about someone but he's a true monster.

I also got a BIG problem with the monster's sentencing...36 years! OMG I know someone who got 50 years just for drug trafficking! I realize that is a crime but compared to what this animal got sentenced and did I DO NOT think justice was served. He should of got the death penalty! Look at how big he is and Mia was so small the poor lady didn't have a chance. So sad and nobody to help her. RIP Mia.
