- Gotham Knights Secret Ending - after the story there is a 2nd secret ending, which can be accessed by interacting with the family portrait at The Belfry (Headquarter). This is a flashback to the opening scene of the game where Bruce Wayne recorded a video in case anything happens to him.

This is a true family. The game did something that the certain dc TV show had to take years to do.

They just want him settle down, chill out for once and hang out with the family. Bruce said it himself they were always looking out for him. That's what family does 😀

Amazing. I fear a lot of people who have only ever seen the live action batman movies and play this game won't appreciate how amazing the Batfamily is in this game, but for those of us who do know them, this is incredible.
Yeah, they seem like a normal family more than just a professional team. I mean, Batman does respect and trust them as heroes of their own but this is a fresh view on how they can act around each other like a family does.

This should've been the actual ending of the game. Bruce comes back and this same scenario happens in case he dies again. That and we needed more Batfamily dynamic between all four Knights in the game.
I do prefer Bruce staying dead - it helps feed into everyone else as successors. It's a true shake up to the status quo we never seem to get.
@@D3wd20p I agree but I should've clarified a bit. Considering that they brought him back at the end only to die again, it seemed pointless to just kill him off again. I'd rather he stayed dead all game. But since they brought him back, this is what I meant that it should've been the ending of the game.
@You can’t See me I get what they were going for, but considering you already have a member of the Batfamily who already came back from the dead who could've helped Bruce with it, him coming back felt like pure shock factor, a "WHAT? NO WAY!" moment more than an actual good story progression. It would've made more sense and natural had they done it like this.
You fight this Talon Commander/Right Hand a few times throughout the game as a really hard boss battle and before the final battle, it's revealed to be Bruce and then at the finale, when the Court goes head to head vs the League to fight over the Lazarus Pit, Bruce snaps out of his trance and sacrifices himself. Destroying the Pit so no one gets it again.
Hope a DLC comes out and we get a bat suite.

Though the game and plot has it’s flaws and it may not be as great as the Arkham Series, the focus on family in this game and for Bruce’s protégées to carry the torch was a nice touch to see.
I normally don’t see a focus like this when it comes to showcasing Bruce and the others in the same room bonding without mentioning a mission or being serious.

Yes, that is my biggest complaint with the game. Batman should have survived at the end. They didn't even have to add him to the game, they could just say he'll be in recovery for a long time. I get not having Batman in the first game of this kind (because there are a lot of normies that would only play as Batman if he was an option), but if they want to make a sequel Batman could easily fight crime alongside his kids (as they normally do). Part of me wonders if there is a way to save him. Like doing the ending fight with all four heroes will unlock the true ending, but I don't think there is. If they plan to make this game into a series, killing Batman was a mistake.

I believe that DC has made a comic book called “Gotham Knights: Gilded City” that serves as a prequel for the game. Saw a teaser sometime before the game release

Even if the gameplay may apparently be clunky, it seems worth it for the story. Plus co op is always fun.
Yes. My only complaint is I wish there was an option for npc 2 player. I fear that I'm missing sibling banter without the multiplayer. But I do get that it is hard to do an NPC ai for a game with so much stealth.

This is one cutscene. I'm assuming you haven't watched any other gameplay cause it's actually quite great.
@@angelothompson186 been following the game since the first footage, my comment wasn't derived from just the one scene lol. It's a stripped version of what was going to be a live service game. Also it's repetitive and bland, feels hollow. Only redeemable aspect seems to be the story.

Because it’s basically exactly them minus a Mikey, ages are one thing but taking more into consideration than just “Age” since Age isn’t gonna cut it obv cuz Tim’s the only Teen… We’re missing an actual Mikey but we have everyone, Leo, Raph, Donnie, April… but if ROTTMNT can get away with their BS, I guess you could say there’s a universe where Mikey isn’t with them at the beginning?

Amongst the four of them, barb would be Donnie and Tim would be Mike. But if your just talking about the robins, then finding a mickey is harder
@@chrisahearn789 Not really because honestly, Personality isn't the only thing taken into consideration since Barbara doesn't match Donnie in age, personality or much else...
Ofc it depends on which iteration you mean, technically only the Robins could make this work since Barbara matches more with April, especially in this game and she's a NECESSARY character of the TMNT lore and family but TECHNICALLY an outsider and people forget this.
Barbara has red hair, was originally depicted as sort of the eldest like April once in original continuity like April, she's technically a welcomed in and loved outsider of the family as TMNT has Splinter and Robins have Bruce wayne April = Barbara, She's got some tech building skills but unlike Donnie who builds and hacks devices... Barbara and April are more keen to HACKING focused and not building devices, she's a girl, She was one Robin's primary connection to the outside world like April is to the entirety of the turtles but not everything is gonna line up perfectly but everything lines up better for her fitting into the role of April and April has been pushed into a role of Badass woman who can fight and take on thugs.
If you think the role of April os demeaning her character or she doesn't fit, then it's like, do you know the TMNT franchise??

And is in no way stale due to the fact that it heavily inspires the majority of combat for superhero games. As my previous statement said this is more of just a Batman game dedicated to the new 52 comics and that is the true breath of fresh air

He died twice. First because he sacrificed himself to stop Ra's al Ghul, and second to stop the Court from getting to a Lazarus Pit.
