- T-54 in the museum was produced in the Soviet Union and it was in museum display for at least 1 decade as far as I know!
It is in Changping area north of Beijing, the tank is in a nice shape currently but many of the things are broken sadly due to being on DISPLAY.
Looks really dusty. My allergies are acting up just watching it!
That thing you were twisting is the power traverse handle (for turning the turret).
thx
Yisi Liu And the other handle near it is for gun elevation/depression.
thx
Yisi Liu, Thats a good video, hope you do more such videos
I have just been to Kubinka so I might do a massive video on it.
That's definitely a good news, i am looking forward to see it.
Good video, i like how you do a all around look in all crew positions.
You give way more inside information then those tards from Wargaming just blahing about lame history of tank radios and stuff
I find the guy talking in the Backround a bit annoing maybe you can fix that in your next video and you already noticed yourself the camerashaking.
Thank you so much, it is such a motivating comment +1million LIKES!!!
i have a headache now ^^
3:00 That switch must be for rotating the turret
thx
So the commander is also the radio operator.. How about the right side of the driving compartment? Is it filled with ammunition or accommodate one more crew to do something else?
+coolboykan i think no one is there
1:44 Must be where the crews took a shit when they saw Abrams tanks coming at them like at 73 Easting.
Remind me pls, what's the best allied tank that was in service in late 40's???
Ime Prezime I wasn't talking about the 40's. I was talking about a battle 50 years later that involved American Bradleys and Abrams vs Iraqi T-72s, and T-55/54s that got annihilated losing 85 tanks whereas the US lost just 1 Bradley.
Dark_Defender Well I know about that battle (if it can be called that way...), but what I want to say is that this tank is produced when USA had shermans and their best tank was M-26 Pershing. Tank that can be compared to T-54 is Patton, (7 years after T-54 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-54/55 vs en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M48_Patton). So at least you can give a little respect to Soviets because their tanks saw combat 50years after production, unlike Americans. Abrams can be compared to T-80 or T-90.
I'm fully aware of Wikipedia, thank you.
Dark_Defender lol
awful video
can you give me some feedback on how to improve
the camera work makes me sick and the wobbling of the camera...sorry
misanthropistlol np, its my fault at least you are telling the truth and helping me to improve
Yisi Liu
Just move your camera around much much slower. I know its tight fit in side the tank but slower panning of the camera when looking around would really really help.
yep, sorry about it. BTW it was like 50degress Celsius inside and it had no lighting so I had to turn on the flash. Thanks for the feedback
