In this episode, Malaysia welcomes this new couple from Hong Kong. But there are several pointers I would share for foreigners who are trying to navigate through Malaysia's property market.
For this audience, I would suggest to first rent a place while figuring out what is the market like. All I'm trying to suggest is think like a local, if not it's very easy to be 'water fish' for other to take advantage on.

Just an add on of my previous message - both my husband (HK) & I (Spore) are going to retire in KL just got our MM2H visa. We had stayed in CA for more than 15 years and we still prefer a convenient location and easy access to shops & transportation as we plan to do many travels but would like to have some monthly income.
Hi Sean, what do you think about these two properties? The OOAK Residence vs Societe Sri Hartamas? We are looking at the long term preferably dual keys investment. One to rent out one and the other own stay when we are in town.
- Both are very close to future MRT 3.
- OOAK is 2 years old in a mature community but Societe is new, and has potential like the Mont Kiara community.
- OOAK selling price a bit high for partial finishes. Societe will come fully finished.
