Yo Martin, idk if you ever addressed this in a video, but I got a question about rez food: was the ~$2700 that you initially paid enough to get you food for the entire year? How would you recommend someone to make meals in their rez since we don’t have kitchen appliances?
Hey! Okay so I sort of addressed this before but it was only once. The $2700 was more than enough for me, still had ~$1200 by the time I had to leave in March. There are weighted and non weighted items in the cafeteria, typically the non weighted items cost more, so buy the ones that cost the least based on the amount of food you're getting
You're allowed a water boiler, so I just made oatmeal for breakfast so I didn't need to get breakfast from the caf
Oh, and one last thing! Lowkey I had a rice cooker, but don't let the people know 😂😂 rice is so expensive if it's by the weighted price in the caf. I also bought my own fruits because they're also weighted at the cafeterias $1.10/100g aka I ain't paying ~80¢ for one banana
Martin Leung Thanks a ton man. Rice is honestly so cheap to make on your own that I couldn’t imagine spending a couple bucks a day on it - it definitely adds up.

Hey! The books are good, most people just say that you can do pretty well just studying from the textbook. If you don't want to buy the textbook, there are study guides in the description (google drive folder link.) Otherwise, I do have my old textbook for sale, dm me on fb (I'm off IG for a while.) Good luck with that!
