Windang Caravan Park

We stayed the long weekend at the Windang Caravan Park in Windang. I had the DJI mini 2 Drone up for a birds eye view. We had a few beers at the Windang Bowling club and saw the band Ikonz perform live music which was awesome

Windang caravan park is council run and sits on the northern shore of the entrance into lake Illawarra. Windang beach (patrolled) and port Kembla beach are to the east. Lovely remote pristine beaches. Windang has a couple of shops, a pub and a club. Nice little out of the way place.

You can also take a walk / ride a bike along a great track on the southern side from Shellharbour to windang and west to oak flats. You can stroll over the bridge to lake south and out onto windang island. Great spot.
