    Kasparov always had a very practical, effective style. He can't be compared to Tal, who calculates sacrifices many moves in advance, and also relies on his over-the-board novelty to crunch his opponent's brains into resignation.

    • @salmarwow
      @salmarwow 7 лет назад

      Kasparov's attacks can be very impressive and it's not uncommon to see him sacrificing his pieces. It's just he is not making sacrifices every second move like Tal. But when he goes to attack it feels like tank is going against you.

    • @ojsojs6004
      @ojsojs6004 7 лет назад +1

      But Kasparov is the better player. Tal's attack most of the time does not work against his fellow top players. Korchnoi dominated Tal.

    Kasparovs' N x pawn is easy to guess. But Tals' moves are very deep and work like a high voltage shock. Those masterstrokes look absurd at first.

    i advice people to watch tal games rather than kasparov,tal is full of surprises and kasparov is cautious. u will have fun in tal games and deepest analysis o moves

    • @pc6663
      @pc6663 10 лет назад +14

      For entertainment I agree, for instruction I couldn't disagree more. Most people will probably never be at the level of chess required to pull of Tal's reckless style of play.

    • @adamcunningham8248
      @adamcunningham8248 9 лет назад +3

      suhas chandra Tal's games are more entertaining, but his magical attacks are usually unsound. Kasparov is a much better player.

    • @suhaschandra9624
      @suhaschandra9624 9 лет назад +2

      I agree

    • @JerodimusPrime
      @JerodimusPrime 7 лет назад +2

      +suhas chandra you will learn more watching Kasparov. Chess isn't always about brilliant queen sacrifices. Kasparov's games show how to play accurate in both defense and attack, the same can be said about Capablanca games. Unless you're a genius GM level player you will probably gain more understanding on how to accurately play the game from Kasparov and Capablanca.

    • @smokingisinjuriestohealth7842
      @smokingisinjuriestohealth7842 7 лет назад +2

      JerodimusPrime tal not always sacrifices queen ... to sacrifice a piece u need a 20 21 moves visions ..so tal is much better of all time

  • @Zelkathz
