I'd recommend the 7th guest if you've never played it. It's a ton of fun and has the best Halloween feel to it. Probably a lot more fun for someone that actually enjoys the difficulty of very challenging puzzles, however.
First I wondered what this video was doing in my feed but after hearing your voice I was glad you posted again. Hope you do this more frequently. Besides Ross' Game Dungeon this is the only thing I know that handles weird old PC games.
Thanks, man. I hope I can. I'm trying to think of different videos I could make or different formats. I don't work on youtube full time, it's just a passion product, so 25+ minute videos take so long to make when I have to research each game, write a script, record, and edit in every single minor detail. Hopefully I can think of something to do in the meantime that's a shorter format or requires less time-consuming editing.
Yeah you click the big P button in-game, then change movie mode from Half Screen to Full Screen, then Movie Detail setting to On to remove interlaced lines.
I've seen this at least five times since it came out. The RUclips algorithm suggested it as a new video for me just now so here I am again! So excited for whatever you have in store for Halloween this year!
Found your channel through the Drowned God video and have been watching your back catalogue, you've a comfy channel my man, never had the patience for point-n-click games but I love gaming history and hearing about all the quirks of this genre. Never knew about Anchorhead either, looking forward to playing it!
Nice video. I always appreciate people doing games about older PC games since that's a big blind spot for me. Definitely picking a few of these up on GOG and hopefully can track down let''s plays of the ones that don't have modern releases.
Hey man. Randomly stumbled upon one of your vids (the Harvester one) and I found myself watching through all of it, and then through all your other vids. Really awesome work and I appreciate the time you went into making these. Also you have a warm affect to your voice and your commentary is pleasant to listen to, like shooting the breeze with an old friend. Keep it up, and thanks.
I don't think Anchorhead had a haunted house, and you didn't show any text regarding a house in the video. I, however, am shocked that nobody mentioned the Keeping Up With the Addams Family. I would pay to see that! Otherwise, awesome video, and a great idea!
Hi, real life American from the land of America here. I have only ever heard "tubular" used in 90s media created by adults aimed at kids and young adults, as an attempt to sound young and cool. I do not think anyone has ever actually said it genuinely.
Even though I know this doesn't really fit the bill, I automatically thought of Resident Evil. I'm afraid my concept of the Haunted House has forever been warped by BOWs and cheesy dialogue.
Whew! All my life I was ashamed to admit that 7-th Guest's puzzles were too hard for me. It always seemed like people on the Internet had absolutely no problem with them. Fucking liars. Oh, dunno if you're still reading these, but try Babel (made with TADS iirc) if you're still interested in Interactive Fiction. It's a good, creepy story and almost no bullshit that usually goes with the genre.
This is your best video yet. You definitely got me more in the Halloween spirit, though I gotta say I'll probably never play a few of these games!

I am so happy Mandalore shouted you out in his newest video, your videos are truly good.
I was surprised by how good this ended up being. Shared it in some social media spots.
I've only now discovered this channel from Mandalore's list of channels and it's great!
Perfect October video! Really got me into Halloween mood 👻
Happy Halloween!

ow man, you really had me at that joke at 25:00, love the vids! I'd like to know your opinion about some newer stuff like amnesia.
There's a setting to make the videos bigger in Phantasmagoria. Great video!
Fug, I didn't know that. I swear I checked everything -- I thought I had it on the largest resolution. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Mandalore Gaming send me here. Love your content.
Man I've been trying to remember the hugos house of horrors game for forever! Thanks man!

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I recently found your channel and really, really like your content! Keep it up, you're doing a damn good job!
Ha, even RUclips knows this video should have started with Haunted House for the VCS.

+Marvin Fuentes Glad you enjoyed it. I'd definitely recommend 7th Guest and Phantasmagoria.
Love this channel. This is what the internet was made for.
I've heard of a game called Uninvited that sounds pretty cool. I think it's also about a haunted house.
Recent watcher to your account love the content! Put me in the spookiest mood :)
i love coming back to this on halloween, good choices in games. I wish i could play text adventure game but I have same issue you did.
I played Hugo on a 286 PC, my first one, back in '92. I've half expected to see Last Half of Darkness getting a mention, too.
God damn I wish I found your video sooner would have really got me in the Halloween mood

D...did we just become the 1k sub? Really awesome vid man!
You did! Thank you, man.
Really enjoying your hard work and the long length of your videos keep up the great work!
I absolutely LOVED The Legacy! Hardly anyone ever mentions it
Great video! Also.....
FEELING LOOOONNLLEYY????
Didnt expect house of the dead on here! Another fun one that’s a little difficult to get working on pc is CarnEvil! Such nostalgia
Odd that you didn't put that one weird JRPG that's 100% set in a Haunted house, or RES1.
love your videos! ever play that one part of VTM: Bloodlines? or Capcom's horror granddaddy Sweet Home?
I love both! VTM: Bloodlines is one of my favourite games. Don't have much hope for the sequel, though.
Really nice put together video!
Fuck yeah new video! So glad I found your channel.
Where did the introduction footage come from? I'm intrigued because the scene uses the same tile as Deckard's apartment has in Blade Runner.
House on Haunted Hill starring Vincent Price. That's a good catch
ARealHuman Thanks for the reply!

The scariest haunted house in any game is the Shalebridge Cradle from Thief, imo.
Shoulda called it: BOO! Haunted house.
Oh shit Hex Girls. Not heard that song in a strong decade!
Sorry for being offtopic but what’s the game at 01:00 ? Looks great!
System Shock (1994) !

Phantasmagoria 2 video when? Or either one us pretty good
Wooh new video.
You never get your cat in a headlock?
Keep up the sweet ass work
Would you consider Mystic Towers?
Nice tabs
