    At the end when she's crawling away from you and looks all scared I almost felt bad for her and wondered if it was possible to spare her. Then later I stumbled upon her lore in the game and the remorse was pretty much gone.

      Spare her? You must be insane! Growing up in Norway and reading all about her (Huldra) in our folklore and knowing what her nature is I did not hesitate to slaughter the bitch haha. She is evil through and through and will not hesitate to kill you if given the chance.

      What's her lore in the game?

    • @guerney2000
      @guerney2000 Год назад +17

      @@3DMasterST basically people from the nearby village started disappearing into the forest. People only saw "black haired woman" luring them there, so, being the reasonable folk they were, they started killing black haired women in the village because it's surely one of them, right? Right? Well the disappearances didn't stop. Then they burned the forest around the village, still the disappearances didn't stop. In the end a group of men went into the forest and was never seen again
      Those figures you see on the trees during the fight are her victims, pinned to the trees with their hearts exposed

    I wished we had sub titles to k iw what she was saying in tongues. Either saying spells or just speaking.

      @noelwinter5446 I am now thinking it may be a made-up language specifically for her. It does show that she onky speaks when casting.

      @@noelwinter5446 I'm norwegian and I understand swedish quite well, but it's impossible to make out what she's saying. Sounds like jibberish to me

      im icelandic and it sounds vaguely like something decipherable. things like 'ljós' (light), 'eitrun' (poisoning), galdrar (incantation), rósir (roses), though its hard to hear because of the music. i find it most likely that shes whispering spells in old norse, as the norsk above says it sounds like gibberish to them but sounds decipherable to me. hope that helps

      @@dogsocks1123 Yes it could be old norse, but icelandic is closer to norse than norwegian is. Been on Iceland twice and Icelandic sounds norwegian but it sounds like gibberish norwegian 😉😅

    Is it possible not to kill her? It seems like there's an option to do nothing. Spare her and be better than the king.

      Someone on youtube uploaded a vid, showing what will happen if you spare her. Basically, she kills you :P So, in reality, there's no option.

      I figured much. She look like she didn't have any remorse for the victims she already took and staked kn the trees.

      yeah, the game, even Tuva makes you feel bad for what you've done. But there's no choice in reality if you want to survive.

    • @OsnosisBones
      @OsnosisBones Год назад +1

      @@apochan6537 I imagine the reasoning is the brutality itself and repeating a mistake, but the seemingly horrified response to killing Skogsra specifically felt kind of strange in retrospect considering she's not the only entity that gets killed through the brother's actions, nor is she even remotely worth sympathizing over.
      I assumed at first it was going to indicate later that she was something that kept the forest alive as its heart or was merely defending herself and not actually evil like the others but her backstory makes her pretty much just as bad as Pesta and the Trolls.
      Like, the musician is the only remotely sympathetic one outside the king himself, so it felt weird for this one to be the one Tuva drew the line on, but again I imagine it was more due to the brutality and using the gift she gave to do it.
