I am old enough to remember when this man first blew up. He didn't sound like anyone else and his verses had SO MUCH energy it was nuts. If you put "Scenario" on at a party people would flip the fuck out!

One of my nicknames in secondary school in the early 2000s in East London was Spliff. Mainly because my name is Iftikhar but people would call me "Ifti" as a shortened way to say my name. Then came nicknames like "Swifti", "Sniffti" & "Spliffti", then just Spliff as a shortened version of "Spliffti". And the thing is, I never smoked weed. My mates did, but I didn't. So Spliff stuck, as a kind of ironic name, like "Little John" in Robin Hood lol
