The fact that you made this out of just a TOY is just AMAZING. The team over at Star Wars legit have real high quality photos from the show and basically everything they need. And you make better posters than them in your own way... It's fantastic. They should rly hire you!!!
@@TheGamingChad. yeah true. Ahah I saw this too and was surprised he didn’t make note of it. Love this. And this is why having some background in 3D illustration and an understanding of rendering techniques can help your photoshop skills.
These posters are genuinely amazing. I think the results are way more obvious when you make your own design rather than improving the original poster. Yours is definitely better!
I actually just learned something new about the lighting of metal. I can't believe I never thought about it😭 Love the second picture more than any other, definitely more poster than concept art
@@r.c.c.10 Idk man, I don't even watch that stuff, waste of my time. The feedback was on the poster it self not the show. But I also got your sarcasm xd
I like the first poster without people more than I like the with people I have to say. Wonderful what you made with just a toy! But to be honest, you said the last is more of a concept poster, but it's my favorite from this video. I love the vibe it gives of. I would like to see more of your "toy-photography" edit work. Could be really interesting to see.
The first poster has the best composition. It's quite an epic throwback, to the art of using miniatures, which was extensively pioneered by Star Wars. Great job Benny!
Really REALLY fantastic work here. The fact that you're creating posters with similar or higher quality than studios with a massive budget and an endless amount of high-quality assets is just so cool. It really shows that anyone can create something incredible. Thanks for another great video Benny!
Great Job! Whoever needs to see this MUST! you deserve a shot at these posters! I'm also happy you attested to the unrealistic lighting and saw how these designers at Disney also had to put that in consideration although you criticised it in your remakes. Great job none less this is superb!
Well done man! Using toys from sideshow work so well because they are so detailed! That’s what got me started with my page honestly. I was happy to hear you mention how you had to brighten Mando since it’s a poster. The word realistic gets thrown around so much these days but as artists, we always have to remember what we’re making and what it is for. You always want the subjects to be easy to see on Key Art. Killer work dude! Makes me want to make another Mando poster! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
That second poster was so visually epic, and man, your skills with the first! Disney needs some help with their posters, and honestly, it would be amazing if they hired you for that.
Benny, you’re inspirering me so much, i started making my own movie poster for a movie i created, called anubis, but it looks farrrr as good as this, i really wanna be as good as you, like you’re one the best photoshoppers i’ve seen and you are my inspiration, love the work, keep it up.
can Disney just hire you already, as a fellow gfx artist i must say i love what you do, your lighting and shadows are some of the best i have ever seen. Keep up the great work
SO MUCH BETTER!!! I love it. And I want one. I wish you could sell them. 😭 Seriously. This is my favorite Mandalorian poster I have ever seen (though I don’t much care for the version with the extra characters). And your second one is also amazing. Honestly, I can’t decide which I want on my wall more. (Both, definitely both.) I personally love the green/orange/yellow colors together, and your lighting effects and composition enhanced that color palette to the max. Bravissimo. I do not know why the RUclips algorithm put your Mando poster edit video on my feed, but I am so glad!! Especially since it brought me to this video and I can’t wait to see your others.
I cannot stress how incredibly talented you are, absolutely love both posters, but I think I like the last one more, there is more of an emotional story in that one and mystery. I'd have that as a poster on my wall.
Wow!!! Simply stunning Benny, such beautiful talent you have here, I had to subscribe to not only support your channel but to follow your amazing work.
Disney needs to make Benny the official poster artist for the Mandalorian from here on. You're so talented man, definitely would like to get this good at graphics one day, start making my own song covers. Much love man!
I love your work and so also this poster design! I alsways take a lot of inspiration from you for my own Photoshop work especially with adding the highlights and shadows. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Super cool idea rendered beautifully! I enjoyed seeing that you went the extra mile to manually add all the highlights and the specular, it's not something post people would wanna touch as it can be really tedious. You'd make a fine rotoscoping artist !
8:02 if you notice, the light on Mando is much more intense yellow than in the first poster where the light is more white-ish... which I'd like better, it's less suffocating.
And this is one of my favorite things to watch when I DO have things to do. For example, right now I have I lot I should be doing, but I chose to watch this instead. 🙂
i absolutely love this! i also did a mandalorian poster of my own a couple years ago, obviously by far not on your level, but i always love learning from you, so maybe ill revisit it soon and see what i can do better!
Incredible! Your version puts Disney to shame, and it would make one wonder how a company with such vast resources can be outdone by one guy, a toy, and photoshop.
Great video! If you told didn’t say the mandalorian on the poster was a figurine I wouldn’t be able to tell the poster itself is amazing on top of the fact you used a figurine!10/10!
I’ve said for ages hot toys are brilliant for photography especially masked characters, sadly they’re just so damn expensive it’s not that easy to do for most artists.
