The more I watch your videos on the quad cortex there harder it is for me to wait for my unit. Thanks a lot for the video. It’s very helpful how you zoom into the screen, it adds to the immersion that other channels don’t seem to give, and talking a bit on the mission expression pedal was also very kind of you.
Your welcome. There are lots of pedals that have been tested by Neural DSP neuraldsp.com/news/quad-cortex-expression-pedal-compatibility The ones I highlighted in the video are pedals that are not on the list such as the Mission Engineering EP1-KP and the Fractal Audio EV-1.
I just messed with It and although I could get the switch to function, the QC thinks it's still a pedal and not a switch. So basically you will have to use the QC switches to enable the wah.
Great Video……… A COUPLE QUESTIONS: on the QC can you use an expression pedal to do things like - set the wet/dry mix of a reverb? It seems the software presents a LIST of the controls within a block (pedal) that can be controlled by an expression pedal. You didn’t show a reverb, and I don’t have the QC unit yet….so I’m asking if the reverb wet/dry is an option. Also……if I have EXPRESSION 1 assigned to say 5 things in my preset; as I move the expression pedal, will all 5 things change/move?
Hi, Thanks for the question. Basically all parameters can be adjusted with the expression pedal. I also did confirm that the Mix can be adjusted in reverbs.
So basically every parameter of any effect blocks can be assigned to an expression pedal or LFO generator like copilot broadcast?? Most of the parameters of wet effects like reverbs delays choruses etc? Right? Thnx
so between this and the line 6 helix, which is going to be more lik an amp with just stomp boxes attatched to it? i like the big lcd screen but i am worried about the lcd being so big......there both the same price.......what is more like a tradtional rig?
Thanks for the video! Very useful!!! But I’m having mayor problem with the volume pedal, some video shows with the “gain” parameter, but the ranges is too sensitive, goes from -55db to 0db too quickly, basically you can’t do the volumen effect, any idea how to fix/do it the right way? Thanks!
Thanks for video! I was wondering for the Wah effect, is it possible to set it up so that I don't have to first engage a switch to turn it on, but to have it work when I move the expression pedal? I have my Kemper setup this way and it's how I like to use Wah :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words.
Mine arrives today 😎
This is some high quality content. Thank you, youtube algorithm. I really like your style of video and I'm glad I found this
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks John. Great information imparted here. Looking forward to your next video. Now if Sweetwater would just ship my Quad Cortex...
Thanks Rick.
Sweet vid!!!, keep'em coming 👍 👍
Thank you very much John. You helped me a lot, I've waiting for my Quad Cortex and I didn't know wich exp pedal I should to buy.

@@johnlynnchannel thanks again. My question is, do you know if the switch on the mission pedal work with QC to engage a wah for example?
Hmmm. I am not sure. Let me try it off camera and I will let you know in a bit. Thanks for the question.
@@guitarsandtech8728 thank you very much. This will help me to check which pedal I will get.

Liked And Subbed. Good Clear Info.
Thanks for the sub!
Awesome!!! Thank you soooo much! 👏🏻🎸✌🏼

Which of these pedals are better quality? I don’t have use for toe button…

About the Mission Engineering Quad Cortex Expression Pedal...Why didn’t they utilize the input hole as a “Power Indicator Light” ???
Vol / wah ? cable and configuration ?! 🇧🇷

Not that I know of. Maybe something I am missing or maybe something that can be added in the future.
